Not so much a law, but set sentences for crimes.
A man shouldnt do more time than a woma for child molestation for example.
And different sentences for the same degree of murder (or any crime) is BS.

New law that every voting age citizen take part in their own Government, for at least 2 years in the local or state. Further, any voter over 45 must take part in House or Congress for no longer than 2 years. Nominees for President must first be technically proficient in numerous diplomatic - economic - etc fields. Salaries will not exceed minimum wage (which will be raised to $20/hour) It's a start.
