I hope the artist is still good after the changeover or at least the colours, Cassaday's art can be weird sometimes but on the whole it's good.
I like his art. People complain about him making the characters look fat. But it seems more realistic to me anyway. Do you have anyone in mind? If it's someone along the lines of Crapello then it'd be pretty upsetting. I prefer detail over messy.
I suggested Simone Bianchi a while back. Intricately detailed art. He's currently being wasted on Jeph Loeb's crappy Wolverine.

Wow I could see that working. Has that Wolverine arc started making any sense yet? Lupin? Storm? Black Panther? New classification of mutant species?
No idea. But I doubt they'd really give Loeb the leeway to reclassify all mutant in Marvel as not even genus Homo derived. Then again Quesada seems to have it in for mutants...
The Loeb run on Wolverine is short iirc... maybe it coincides with the changeover for AXM and Bianchi can go on it... probably not but wishful thinking is fun.
Whedon wouldn't kill Kitty off without a plausible way to bring her back... which isn't to say he wouldn't kill her... Kitty is the Buffy of the series.

I'm not exactly satisfied with Simone's art. Did anyone see bondage Wild child and Wolfsbane? Not good.

It's very good sometimes, but it varies in battles. The Sabretoth/Wolverine fight was the part I didn't like. His work on Storm and Black Panther was good.
The art in AXM isn't what's worrying me, the plot is. The entire Colossus resurrection and such is something I'm not too fond of. Him destined to destroy breakworld and all that.

and whedon is leaving... how many times did he kill buffy? 😛
if not kitty, then cyke, tho he hasnt had his big impact like whedon said he would...
hank hasnt been integral enough for him to die imo, colossus is only back, and...
emma?

personally i really like it, though the last few issues seem to be little more than filler at times...

Emma is his other favorite character archetype - the reformed villain.
And as far as ressurections go, if they have to be done they should be done the way Colossus' was.

coulda sworn it was three... meh...
he is leaving, so i don't think them being his favourite characters will stop him killing either of them, he did it with buffy, fred, wes, possibly gunn... wow he really let the buffy cast off lightly didnt he? they lost what, anya and tara... he seems to like giving good characters great send-offs...
yeah, colossus' was awesome...

It might be Hisako (Armor). Although I kind of like her as an addition, so far as new characters go.Does anyone recall if they actually said a character will die? I thought Blindfold just said one of them wouldn't be returning.
yeah, marvel keeps saying 'one of them isn't coming back' or something to that effect... though who'd stay behind? colossus? f*ck no... he's only back, and the guy deserves to stick around...
unless he and kitty stay behind, as like, rulers...
