remember when Jack got married... his wife said at the reception before the wedding -- that she had gotten into a car wreck 4 yrs earlier...so Im thinking it's been maybe 6 yrs or so ago.. not 16 -- and Desmond... well anyone would look like that if they had been down in a box or hatch for as long as he had...i like Jack's 'Party of 5' hair 😊

Why wouldn't he have present time kitchen-ware/electronics? Only reason I can think of is parallel universes. Maybe the austrailian guy is two places at once. Or maybe he has a dopple-ganger a "good and a bad" side, and the bad one is in the hatch, and the good one is out and about performing miracles i.e. the miracle he performed with Jack's wife and he suddenly wasn't paralyzed. Hence the reason he asked Jack if he believed in miracles. The parallel universe theory would completely show how Walt was able to communicate with Shannon.

I think Walt died. They did say that they were going to kill off some characters this season. And remember when the Russian women said about there was other ppl on the island and wanted the child. I think she wasn't going crazy i think she was telling the truth but got confused on wut child they wanted.Not Claire's baby... but Walt. Hence the hobo boat ppl who snatched him up. I think those were the ppl the Russian women was referring to.

couple of things there....The women is french not russian.
The end of the season showed us that the they wanted walt not claire.
I don't think walt is dead.. the "vision" of him is just along line of spooky stuff that has happened on that island.. I think he is there to tell shannon to do something... Involving a button... Time will ultimately prove if my therory is right or wrong... we will just see
Does shannon ever get her hands on a button...at the sake of someone elses life???
