'Cause thats where Lockes fateful Donkey Wheel spinnage left it....its an island mover, isnt it...? Or maybe the smaller islands (like where the losties had their 2nd crash were flashing through different time zones to the main island?

I bet Christian is sending Locke to the seventies to stop Sawyer Jack and Co from altering the purge outcome.....
Theres ya much heralded war, maybe.

Are Sawyer Kate Hurley Jack Jin etc all going back to fight along side DHARMA against Richard Locke and the others....?
Can the Losties die...? It looked like Sawyer was surprised he wasnt shot dead.

What if Adam and Eve are Sawyer and Juliet...?

Crazy statue malarkies..... Now we know it was complete once...

Best. Show. Ever.

Its "Horace", I think, but clearly a clever play on words, anyhow.

Also: Note Richard's Egyptian looking look too, when thinking of Egypt connections....

I always thought Sawyer was a pathetic liar and a sorry leader until I saw last night's episode. He handled Alpert like a puppet-master.

And I don't like that the writers hooked up Juliet and Sawyer; for some reason I just can't see those two together.

I thought the opposite. For some reason it felt right having them together. Jack's gonna be happy tough, first Kate now Juliette. Whatever jack wants, Sawyer gets.

ya i was thinking theh same thing. Also you noticed that the boss of Dharma initiative, his name is "horus" Another Egyptian Deity.

It is actually Horace, but yeah, considering the Egyptian theme, the wordplay still applies

The Island doesn't travel through time, it has always been there, though the location moves, the ones traveling were the losties.

I think the Alcatraz island was also inside the bubble when the Island was moved, like Faraday, or even Jin ,who was farther away, and it also make the jump

I don't know why the O6 were divided into two groups, but I'm thinking they will be reunite once Widmore is forced to move the donkey wheel, that's the only way I can see then reuniting

Spoiler:
and I know at least Sun and Jin will be reunited, but by the end of this season

I think the Purge still needs to happen, I think the war will be something will see next season, when all the losties are reunited

And, by the looks of this episode, the pregnant women problem was a recent one, unless Amy got pregnant outside the Island, which I pretty much doubt since Horace is the Dharma chief

I actually like Sawyer and Juliet together, him telling Horace he doesn't remember Kate's face, but then when he sees her, the look on his face was priceless

just watched it...

stoned

Im now wondering how many of our main Losties were in that Mass Dharma Grave that Ben shot Locke into...

What is it with Goodspeed and trees.....?

First we see him he is chopping down the same tree three times, next we see him, hes pissed up and staggering around dynamiting the trees.

So much for tree hugging hippy scientists.

That comic con '08 video gives a very strong hint where Faraday's going....

The statue was back tonight! For some reason the first thought that came to mind was "Is that a statue of Anubis?". Anubis which is related to death/resuscitation which is something seen in the island. Very good and intriguing episode.

Haha, I actually thought "Is that a statue of Horus," right away. I even said to my girlfriend, who was watching with me, that it was Horus, it just seemed like it. And then when Horace came into the picture, it solidified my stance that it was Horus.

Coincidental that we both, as viewers, thought of an Egyptian god of the afterlife and the sky for Anubis and Horus respectively, and then they show the Ankh, an ancient Egyptian symbol for eternal life, or not a coincidence? I think Egyptian myth plays a large part in this and in future episodes.

Hmmmm I was curious about the statue and manage to get a screen capture from abc.com. The statue looks like a woman and it seems to be wearing a sweater/pants clothes. Also, its holding something in both hands. The pic looked better when I captured it in HD.

Sweet picture, it only adds to the Egyptian feel. He's holding an Ankh in both hands, the symbol that was on the necklace: it means eternal life.

And as for the headdress, it looks like Horus', just tone down a bit. Notice the similar dress around the midsection, it seems, too. Also, the ankh in the left hand.

It seems so but it seems to be wearing a sweater or something. Maybe Horus got cold.

Maybe Alpert is the personification of Horus.

I'm not seeing the sweater, as if you look at the waist, their seems to be a definitive end to his skirt. Though, if you look at this shoulder area, you can see a slight definition of something, perhaps a vest.

So does that mean Swayer was right? if they did leave the island they would be living in the 70s?

Possibly.

But the island was moving too. As confirmed by the producers.
"A little of both, maybe" was what DL said, if I remember rightly, when asked if it was the Losties or the Island moving.

Did you see the look on Jack's face at the end? Not only did he not wanna have to go back to the island, he definitely didn't wanna see Sawyer.

War! Warrr!! Warrrrrrrrrrrrr........!!!!
