February 4, 2010 - The series finale for Lost is not coming when you might expect. Rather than have it on a Tuesday like all the other episodes this season, show architects Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof have announced that the finale will air on May 23, a Sunday. Cuse and Lindelof gave out this bit of information on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.The change in date for the finale is a first for the series as the previous season finales have aired on the show's regular dates. But the Tuesday time slot is also new for the series, and it could be that ABC executives are looking to avoid pitting the Lost finale against the first part of American Idol's finale, which will air during Lost's normal slot that week. On Sunday night, however, the show will face limited competition for its audience.

Lots of people are saying this.
They're also saying that when jacob died, he probably transfered his body into sayid like the other guy did with locke?
Or is Sayid simply an "other" now?
Sorry for the double post but now theres theories out there that Charlie is inhabiting Sayid haha. Lost is the only show where random crazy theories make sense.
Charlie was about to die on the airplane when jack saved him. People are saying its charlies voice when sayid wakes up.

Here's my theory:
The ash is to keep The Man in Black out - and was all around the cabin that Jacob was (possibly) living in. My theory is that the Man in Black - taking on the guise of Christian Shephard - "infected" Claire - and had HER break the ash circle surrounding the cabin. The Man in Black can't break the ash himself, and used Claire to do it for him - granting him access into Jacob's home. In the Season Five finale (The Incident) Bram and Illyana find Jacob's cabin, and are distraught to find that the circle of ash had been broken.
