A admit I thought the book-Gollum was kinda bland. I didn't care if Sam always put him down all the time, though he also had some moving moments. I won't also deny that his constant argument with Sam cracks the hell out of me. 😂

But yeah..I'm all for movie-Gollum. 🙂

When I've read the books, I imagined his physique to be like a frog's. Just longer and thinner. The word "slimy" also haunted me for several days and I couldn't forget it when I've first read The Hobbit. 😛

Most of them, like 95% don't. But there are a few who do. One famous example are the Sackville-Bagginses. It's a combination of...yeah..you guessed it...Sackville and Baggins. It started when Camellia Sackville married Bilbo's uncle, Longo Baggins.

i liked the book Smeagol better and the movie Gollum (¿i am aloud to do that arent i?) but yeah Andys profomance was a lot of why Gollums character was so good that and i was sad for Gollum even though there are moments that i wanted to take a rock to his head

he can be so good and evil all at once that i really like

I am sorry for not being here to spur on the conversations. I know everyone is very excited about the ROTK video that is now out but that is no reason to abandon gollum. here is a question for you guys: What did you think of the end of the ring where Gollum finally get the ring and then falls in the lava? Please don't leave him all alone!!!!

I find him acting abit gay in the movie. He was a great character in the book and was portrayed like sh!t in the movie also.

Gollum is a mighty ingenius creature, I did like that he got the ring back....its not like Gollum used the ring to do much evil...he just wanted his little toy back

yeah its was interesting how the lava didnt seem to have an effect on him (even if it killed him)
he acted like he wasnt even there just cuz he was holding the ring
talk about a deadly obsession

also Legolas was a pansy in the movies (dont even try to change my mind) and super cool in the books
and you just dont attack a guy with a bow perfect aim and great vision

YAY A GOLLUM THREAD! bless it! ive been waiting for one! hehehe, my friend nichole has a inner gollum, its sooo funny, and i have a inner legolas, anyways, on ROTK, at the beginning when hes eating the fish...i cant bare to watch it, i dont know why but it makes me sick, i always close my eyes on that part, i dont know why! LOL! Anyways...gollum rocks!! Although he made me very angry on ROTK, he turned frodo against sam, and then lead frodo to shelob and then bite off his finger *ouch* isnt it funny how he was dancing around when he got the ring back, hehehe such a cute gollum, BUT A EVIL GOLLUM TOO!

tbh when I read the fellowship of the ring I wouldnt of guessed Gollum would look like he did in the movies :rolleyers:

when I saw the movie and seen that was gollum in fellowship of the ring i was like "oh thats not so bad" (little knowing it wasnt infact him but a cheap sfx clip 😛)

then i seen two towers and pondered for a while,
