Think about it. Batman is a master tactician and will pretty much break any lock or confinement that gets in his or Spider-Man's way (master artistry of escape haha) and Spidey has the physical attributes to knock any of them out in a fight. Not to mention Bruce's intelligence and add to that Peter's impromptu brawns in a fight.

You make it sound like Spider-Man is a brute force/thuggish superhero and not a nerdy science student turned crimefighter.

Batman is clever and smart but since when has he been a Reed Richards type character? People are getting carried away here! But I guess that is why there are more than 1800 posts about a fight that is pretty straightforward.

Barbara Gordon runs faster than Flash.

flash Thompson maybe.

Alfred kicks harder than Aquaman.

Batman roller blades better than Spiderman

The Penguin eats more than Galactus.

Iceman is cooler than the Human torch

Batman spits farther than Godzilla.

Cosmic Cube HWFF!'s better than Zahit.

Black Panther's 'vette is cooler than Elongated Man's Camaro.

Spider-man has shown himself to be just as fast and accurate with his webbing as any hero is with thier very best weapon....Kaine couldn't dodge it continuosly and he was as fast as Spidey and stronger as well...and he knew EVERYTHING about his style and he didn't set off the Spider-sense......Spidey still beat him and he had more advantages than Batman would have given these fight conditions.

If Batman can hit Spidey with a THROWN weapon due to his level of skill throwing weapons then Spidey can hit Bat's with SPRAYED webbing due to his mastery and versatility with the stuff...You don't even have to read much Spider-man to know that there's not much he can't do with the webbing. And Batman can't use strength to BUDGE it. 😮‍💨

batman has a homing device...he could very well have his batwing jet...and all 20 batmobiles on the battleground within a matter of minutes or less....and since spiderman has all these walls to latch onto and dumpsters to throw.....well then I have no qualms giving batman this edge.....

all batman had to do is connect a gas batarang to a homing signal one. even if spidey deflects it with webbing ....ahhhhh gas!

I mean COME ON! hobgoblins gassed him several times and they were all lobs...green goblin's done it a couple times as well.......but batman can't? pffffft.

see here's another thing...how do you even know what his "standard" equipment is?

he's never emptied out his belt....the batmobile at any rate does have those homing projectiles....batman has them on batarangs......no reason to think he can't use them here just cause it hurts spidey...

Thye both have advantages and disadvantages.

I believe that Batman is more adept at capitalising on an opponents disadavantages and tactical discrepencies within a hostile situation.

Seriously, Spidey might have the strength, the agility and the webbing, but Batman beats foes who have more powers than him )ie any!) all the time using just wit, skill and gadgets. He could do the same in this too.

that's debateable but even if it doesn't work directly batman can attack spidey while spiderman's trying not to get whacked....
