Spiderman defeated Firelord in continuity as well. Although such a feat is well beyond his means, would you actually consider it canon? According to your logic, Batman should be no match for Spiderman.

I think that the firelord battle was more or less potrayed with some amount of accuracy.......it wasn't just spider punches that beat him...there were a plethora of other factors involved that led to firelords downfall......no reason to think that it's bad writing...

I was getting to it....no it's not spidey...but he's about my 3rd or 4th ranked fave in marvel....I'll give you a hint though...he's a villian....

Your logic is severly flawed, Jinzin. There is no possible means for Spiderman to beat Firelord. It is even more impossible than Wolverine beating Lobo.

well it was merely made out that fire is normal hand to hand, and spidey was fighting to survive, while firelord was being cocky, but, give me some stats on that spidey vs. namor battle.

Does it really matter how cocky Firelord was being? He's a herald of Galactus! There are no means by which Spiderman could win that battle. None whatsoever.

no....not the marvel version at least...and we are talking marvel here...I can't name a definitive favorite from every game comic movie etc....
