what? there were tons of facotrs working against firelord...first he underestimated spidey...second he didn't use his powers to any of their real extents... he thought he could win in a hand to hand competition against someone who's had more h2h experience than him.... he got a building demolished on top of his noggin....he got caught in an explosion that leveled a city block...and he was caught in it at ground zero....he immediately got hit with the equivelent of thousands upon thousands of spidey punches in an instant...and then a barrage of actual spidey punches did the rest of the job while he was seperated from his most useful weapon.....

Imaginative, but innaccurate. If I underestimate a cockroach, that doesn't mean much. That's pretty much the size of it.
Firelord can endure the gravity of a black hole. An explosion won't hurt him, and neither will a collapsing bulding. Spiderman's punches wouldn't fair any better. You're trying to make sense out of the senseless. There is a such thing as plain old bad writing.

You're totally missing the point. Obviously, the writer of the comic book didn't know what he was doing. If he can withstand the gravitational pull of a black hole, why in God's name would an explosion hurt him? You just can't recognize bad writing.
because the black hole, stars, anything of that given nature is reflectant of his own abilities....not only is he not hurt by them but he thrives off of them in some cases.......everything that happened to him in the spidey fight wasn't in any way reflectant towards those powers.....firelord can be KOed with enough excessive force...... I think we found his limit right there....
I can recognize bad writing...but I choose not to dismiss it.....who are we to play god in the lives of these heroes and villains the "I don't like it so it didn't happen" argument is almost as played as the bad writing argument in general and I CHOOSE to find reasons rather than dismiss things based on my own preference....

You are making no sense whatsoever. There is no relation between Firelord and a black hole. Galactus is the source of Firelord's power, not a black hole. Black holes pull energy into themselves. The gravity of a black hole crushes anything into a singularity. It is more destructive than any sort of bomb could ever be.
You are actually saying that Spiderman is capable of knocking out Firelord. You sound ridiculous. If Spiderman was actually capable of knocking Firelord unconscious, he'd kill Batman.

no you're misunderstanding again...firelords powers when manefested are reminisent of a star itself...I'm sure you know this and can understand that a star being composed of high amounts of heat energy and gravity the whole shabang on eletromanetics share the exact same properties that firelords powers do when manefested properly.....and some of the exact same properties of a blackhole.....of course he's not going to get hurt....it's like saying water can hurt H2O.......
