no...I use ryu as he's been presented....his potential is a different story all together...but if you're going to argue like that....batman has the potential to nuke spidey plain and simple....batman has the potential to come to the battlefield using a heavy duty mech suit... batman has the potential to pick spiderman apart at the seems mentally before taking it to him on the physical level......see where that logic falters for these fights?

You missed those few pages of the feats huh, typical, you pickeed what you chose.
Certain people have more potential to do certain things, Thor has a higher potential against hulk, than spiderman.
Good logic and reasoning.
thor has higher potential to beat hulk than spiderman does because he's already leagues above spiderman in terms of powers, fighting ability, and experience.....the potential one character has to beat another vs. the potential one character has to get stronger/morepowerful are two totally unrelated topics (again what was that about irrelivency)...now you're grasping for straws..and it's not working....

Reasoing,logic, and thinking are parts of a real world, adn since this is put up as a real event, then there's no exception.
I disagree with those that don't make sense, like spideman moving at supersonic speeds, or beating firelord.
Regardless, those writers whose work you pick and choose, are not going to redo their work if the strength is off alittle if it sells.
Think for yourself, we are bringing them OUT of the comics, and into a hypothetical fight with their abilities, and personalities INTACT.
Those pages answer when, like if I was curios when bats took a hit from superman, but they don't answer why, when you say that batman wins, I want to know why, and when we get technical, someone pulls the pages, because they cant argue much else, its too brain taxing.'
Go to a magneto, iceman, or superman thread, the best ones there use logic all the time.

You do agree that a person hit by a car is worse, than the victim inside protected, and then a stronger alloy doesn't necessarily protect better, because it absorbs less, thats why armor and adamantium are not perfect in a debate.
