Yes, it's Detective Comics 710, and the cover is red, and there's a picture of Batman holding a machine gun. And people often think that Stroke wasn't 'fighting his fullest' because he wasn't after Batman, but he was after Gunhawk, and Batman was preventing him from getting the bounty, so yes, he was trying to win. And he's definitely trying to win when he says "Game's over I'm through playing with you masked man." then unsheaths his sword to fight. So, he's ready to fight, and what happens? Batman smacks his ass unconcious by bashing him in the face with a rifle. So, at this point, he definitely WASN'T toying, and got smacked down in ONE BLOW...

Another good example of Batman laughing at gunfire was when Hitman knocked him off of a building with it (quick-drawing so fast Bats didn't even have time to react) after using his X-ray vision to determine that Batman's chest was armored (and that, therefore, Tommy wouldn't kill him by shooting there).

So Batman, half dead gusting for air, gets one lucky win, if you could call it that, and all of a sudden he is better. Deathstroke, ****ed Batman up way, more times than Bats beat death. How is human Batman, getting passed an early warning system, lift 15 tons, and webbing, that stops collapsing buildings ? Oh, are you giving batman a shit load of prep, and he just happen to have what he needs, in his belt ? Get the **** out of here, even in the interviews, with the creators, they said oh, we made a mistake on Batman swimming in toxic water without any protection, and that they forgot to draw it, but they said it's OK, because he is Batman...What the ****, then.

And he did it without prep...

So if some one tears your ass, apart like 10 times, and you win once, by BS, means you are better, because of one win.

entire swat teams.... spiderman's been shot and killed before.. he's also been humiliated by punisher on two occasions through gunfire only meant to wound...

What does it matter whether the person who got beat up was fighting at their fullest. When batman fought deathstroke in deathstroke the terminator you can really see that batman was not there to take deathstroke out despite knowing what deathstroke was really capable of..but nobody cared about that just the fact that batman lost.

So I say to anyone the second fight with batman and deathstroke ended in batman haveing the upper hand and koing deathstroke with his own weapon as deathstroke was about to breach their h2h confrontation after being down once by batman.

ten times? they've fought twice.. it's 1/1 and batman held back like crazy in the first fight..... hmmmmmmmmm

Batman is human and doesn't need cheap superpowers to become a superhero like everybody else, therefore he automatically wins 😉 😆

oh.. and I actually think the fight could go either way, but if you're going to complain that Batman never loses then I must complain that Peter never worked for his powers. He developed a fighting style thanks to his powers.

It's like giving Peter a free PC game to practice at. But in Batman's case, he programmed his own PC game from scratch 😉. Therefore I think Bruce is more of a superhero than Peter will ever be.

Yeah we can play, "He did this and he did that" all day with these two characters. They are both in thousands of comics and have done thousands of amazing feats. At the end of the day all we can really fall back on is powers. Spiderman trumps Batman in that category and takes this fight.

What i'm seeing here on this thread is all the..."Batman did this! Batman did this!" but none of the Batman defenders are being nearly objective enough to give Spiderman his fair share of the cut.

I liked Spiderman's joke in the latest issue of MK when that girl pulls a gun on him and he says something like, "A gun lady?!? Do you know how many guns have been pulled on me?!? Do you think you're going to get the lucky shot?" I got a chuckle out of it.
