Anti-Hero's ARE NOT EVIL! THERE NOT GOOD EITHER!

A protagonist is somebody that causes problems. Your way off buddy.

An antagonist is a person or obsticle for the protagonist. 😖

I said an antihero CAN be an evil protagonist.

Antihero is sort of a misnomer. You can't derive what it means simply from the composition of the word. . . 😖

😐 Cresh is right...Tommy would be. Protaganist = Main person (which would be Tommy). Anti-hero = Protaganist who lacks the characteristics that would make him a hero.

That make them a squeaky clean hero.

PROTAGANIST ISNT MAIN PERSON!? Its someone who causes problems for other people!

An Anti-Hero ISNT a protaganist! OMFG what dont you people understand?!

Yes we do. . you're mixing up ANtagonist with PROtagonist. 🤨

HERE, Marvel's Dictionary...

An Anti-Hero is someone who tries to set things right without the regard of safety for those around him. An Anti-Hero will strive to protect those in the right, and slaughter all those in the wrong, though an Anti-Hero will kill those in the right if it means going towards a greater defeat of those in the wrong.

I guess you can't rely on Marvel's Dictionary 100% then. 🤨

If an Anti-Hero is evil... That makes him a Villain.

Protagonist is simply the main character.

the Antagonist is

Something that gets in the protagonist's way.

protagonist doesn't mean good guy, it means "main character" if the "main character" is a villan, the protagonist is a villan.

Dictionary.com = good thing to use.

And it says.

pro·tag·o·nist ( P ) Pronunciation Key (pr-tg-nst)
n.
The main character

Anti-Hero

antihero n : a protagonist who lacks the characteristics that would make him a hero (or her a heroine)

There are other things on Protagonist, and Anti-hero but those two fit well with the arguement.

how can spiderman compete with this???

OMFG! THATS HILARIOUS JINZIN!
im on the ground laughign!

😆 Oh how could Spidey compete with that skill.

Your defintion of anti-hero is by far the sluttiest defintion I've ever heard. If there's a comic for Joker or Thanos, they don't become anti-heroes because they become the main character. They're villains. Batman is a vigilante but he is no anti-hero.

You just don't know what you're talking about.

Ya know that sounds a lot more like Batman if you ask me.

Fair enough

And what is your history when it comes to beating people who are way stronger than you are? Because Batman has such feats up the yin yan. Beating people who are stronger than he is, is his calling card.

Pretty damn good. I've been smaller and weaker than the majority of my opponents. And I've won the majority of the time. Bats beating people stronger than him is admirable. But Carnage had his a$$ dead to rights before that Joker stuff happened. That can't be denied. He had a hold of Bats. He could easily stab him to death or decapitate him. When Carnage went to grab Bats, Bats was not fast enough to evade. Carnage grabbed him. If you're not strong enough to escape, or super durable (Bats is neither) once Carnage has you you're @ his mercy. Joker saved Batmans life. You don't seem to want to admit that. Jinzin, you say you've got the book. Please post pages of this scrap.

This thread looks so much cooler, we should have used it to argue this instead. Batman wins due to his "touch of death" techniques and superior versatility.

Umm... so who do you say wins?

But mercilous loses because he doesn't read the rules or know anybody's character.

Give me back my rock!

Anyway, you feeling lucky, punk!

Attacking my character doesn't make Spiderman any better, he loses.
