yep every 3 movies you gotta recast...so by Spiderman 30 we would have had 10 different Peter Parker/Spidermen, May Janes, Aunt Mays, etc, lol

The Rocky and James Bond movies never had recasts after 3 movies.Neither did the Lethal Weapon movies either.

But the Spider-Man movies NEED a recast. To just get rid of Kirsten friggin Dunst.

Keep Aunt May,Betty Brant and Jonah Jameson. They rock.

yeah down with Dunst!!!! I think she said this was her last one anyway.

James Bond is the king of recasts Ock. M, Moneypenny, Bond himself, Q, etc. Cameos like the 006 cameo in Thunderball and then Sean Bean in GE, characters being re-written completely, as in Felix Leiter/Sheriff J.W. Pepper/Jack Wade all being the same guy. Some of the people that never were recasted were Tanner, Charles Robinson, and General Gogle (Gogol? I forget). Desmond Llewelyn was Q in 17 of the 20 Bond films, he wasn't in Live and Let Die because they didn't want him in there, and he wasn't in Dr. No because "Major Boothroyd", which is Q's real name, was played by someone else. Now in Die Another Day, Q was played by Johnathan Cleese, aka "R" in The World Is Not Enough

The only one that comes to mind that has recast more times than this is probably X-Men, since their cameos always get recast.

However, I don't believe that after every 3 movies you should recast. I think you should keep original actors as long as possible if they're doing the right job. Dunst I can live without, but I think Maguire is going strong, Franco is great, JJJ is perfect, May is great, Betty is great, Connors/Baker I'm liking a lot, etc. I think they should keep those as long as possible and even Dunst if she can change just a little bit, but once in a while you do have to recast.

i heard a rumor the villian is gonna be camelion and Thomas Hayden CHurch and Topher grace might play his alter egos or Topher grace will be Electro i just got this magazine and they even asked who the main villians would be and no one said soo

it is her contract will be over after the third film and theres a rumor that they might kill her off but i dout that will happen but she wants spidy to die

I want her to die I hate her. Harry needs to stick a bomb in her mouth I am not kidding it might be a little violent but what the hell, it could use some. And then Peter gets mad and kills Harry. Bye bye Dunst!

There was no recasts in Bond after 3 movies,or 4 or 5 for that matter.

Spencer said after 3 movies there are recasts. Not so with Bond.

its falsle although its a smart idea. Someone actually used the peter/mj relationship and thought like sam raimi: representing problems as villains. But Chameleon sucks major ass. he's like a minor villain. (Why the hell would mj like with a nerdier version of peter parker, mj was freakin popular in high school.)

No but Bond was recast after 1 and after 2. George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton.

Again you're talking apples and oranges. The Bond franchise was on it's 6th movie with Lazenby and it's 17th with Dalton.

The Spider-Man franchise has had two movies so far.And a 3rd on the way.

I know.

I think every Bond fan knows that.

He didn't specify that after the first 3 films that movies should get recast, just said after 3, nobody said "after the first 3 bond films", just "after 3".

Mainstream: "yep every 3 movies you gotta recast"

And after the first 3 Bond movies there was no recasts of the main characters 🙂 After Moore's first 3 Bond movies there was no recasts.Or Brosnan's.Need I go on??

So I'm still right.Same with the Lethal Weapon movies.

Spider-Man could take James Bond, on with the subject.

Most Marvel heros could 😉

I didn't say anything about the Bond movies.. I just said if they make more than 3 I think they will recast..

We know that. What you said was that every 3 movies a recast is needed.

I merely pointed out that it is not necessary in every case.I used the Bond movies as a good example of that.

My god talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill.

That was Mainstream...

Damn I always get you two mixed up.

I don't know why 😮

lol i was wondering what u were talking about. i dont think u have to recast after every 3 movies..
