Villain For Spider-Man 3?

The old one. The one who broke the second Vulture (the younger man who rigged an "accident" that almost killed him in prison and took his flight suit) out of prison and gave him back the flying suit he stole, all for the purpose of beating the crap out of him in front of God and everybody and proving that he was the one, true Vulture.

Adrian Toomes is a grade-A badass, regardless of how writers in recent years have chosen to portray him as a B-list villain. As far as murderous thieves who built their own "powers" go (like the Shocker and Mysterio), he's way up there (ha ha, get it?).

Having him appear to be younger weakens the impact of his skill and will, just like casting a 6'2" soap opera/chick flick heartthrob as Wolverine (who's 5'3" in the comics) weakens the impact of having a character who's supposed to be a "runt" charging fearlessly after 7' tall villains with superhuman strength. Just like Wolverine forever proved his badass status in his very first appearance (where he took on both the Hulk and the Wendigo without hesitation), the Vulture proved his each time he recovered from life-threatening injuries and deliberately empowered his enemy, knowing full well he could defeat and humiliate him.

I like Electro..but lightening does look kinda funny in CGI...maybe shock waves could work. Shocker would be a good villian...he could be what I call a "warm up villian"...a guy Spidey beats in like 3 to 5 minutes flat and you don't see him again until the final fight of the movie when he teams up with the other villian or villians.

Considering the Shocker is pure force and has no vision, I could deal with the time in which Shocker being defeated be short in length, although it should be noted that the Shocker is not a weak villain. When he first met Spider-Man, he unequivocally defeated him. He's a powerhouse. Still, the entire battle doesn't need to be shown. I just wouldn't want him to be shown as a pushover. He may not be an invincible criminal mastermind, but he's not the Kangaroo, either.

I get ya..shocker is pretty tough...and give the web head a run for his money..he's constantly upgrading his "shock ware" for lack of a better term.

The Shocker is cool but I think Electro is a little better.

yeah...Shocker is powerful...but Electro is power.

That's true. 😎

I always thought a good movie would've been Shocker and Venom, with Shocker being the so-called warm up as you said, but also playing a part in the plot. Eventually there'd be a fight between Venom vs Shocker vs Spider-Man on Ellis Island, and Shocker would be knocked out, and Venom and Spider-Man would fight on the Statue of Liberty. Then by using a Shocker upgrade that has to do with sonics, Spider-Man would send Venom to a supposed death in the water, but then we'd be seen that he doesn't die.

Venom would pwn Shocker.

Topher Grace shouldn't be Mysterio, either. He shouldn't be any villain. Many of Spider-Man's villains are middle-aged men (Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro, etc.) and Quentin Beck is supposed to be as well. I suppose that since younger and younger people are becoming directors, Grace could fit that profile, and certainly in the capacity of a stunt double. Still, I'd prefer to leave him out completely, if it were my call and I was making a real Spider-Man movie instead of the weak farce we've been getting. Raimi & Friends have made some great casting picks (even though they wasted most of their talent), but Topher Grace isn't one of them, regardless of who is chosen.

well ofcourse Topher is a bad choice for any villain, but I'm trying to look on the brightside. The Unleashed (staring jet li) was directed by a guy that was like 23yrs old...Anyways. I know Vulture is not a very impressive villain.

-I would love to see Shocker fight spiderman. (like i said before, Vin Diesel as the Shocker: his voice). Or hell id love Scorpion. Who knows, maybe Topher can do this awesome VOICE of Shocker(i doubt it though), and thats why he was chosen: if so, we dont really have to see his face...

That'd be stupid.

well having Topher as Shocker you atleast wouldnt have to see his stupid face.

-He doesnt look like a bad guy or a villain, he looks like a f@g.

He'd look awesome as Venom to me,give him a chance and you shouldn't judge men, that would mean that you're gay. 😉

Yeeeaaahh...who ever doesnt agree with is gay. Well you're gay for giving Topher Grace a chance, out of all the hollywood actors alive Topher freakin Grace, the 70s kid. They guy's acting career is as unsuccessful as Pauly Shore's for gods sake.

That one ridiculous remark has just lost you all credibility.

Dude,I mean if he buffs up and studys the part he COULD do a good job. Also, who's to say they're just fooling us with the Sandman picture and THC is REALLY playing Venom and Topher is someone else?

Dude, you can't say a boy is gay or is ugly so that means YOU'RE gay.And I wasn't calling you gay in the first place,I was saying you shouldn't judge boys. But I'm gay and I'm posting in threads like the Erica Durance one in the Smallville thread.Rrrrrriiiiight. 😉 Well, who's to say they won't make a new villain or something or if he is Venom he's just working out for the part of Eddie Brock and Venom will be CGI.ALWAYS consider ALL of the possibilities.

He looks like the exact opposite of Eddie Brock. He was a skinny kid to begin with, how the hell will he add 200 lbs of muscle? He'd have to bulk up then tone it. He has a girly face and a dull voice. Judging other peoples looks is perfectly normal, its called making fun of ugly people.

Make-up can do wonders now adays and I believe with ALOT of work they can make him look SOMEWHAT like Venom. Also, they don't start shooting until next year I believe so he has enough to time to TRY and add enough muscle.

You think make up can make him look like Eddie Brock???

LOL!

You can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ear.And you can't make Topher Grace look like Eddie Brock.
