After all, Vader "died" in that did he not? And I could cite 50 horror-movie examples where people have reappeared after death, but we won't go there. After all, many fans have knowledge of the books, and know about Ock and his survival of the unlikeliest events. But onscreen, this would be an unfathomable concept? Okay.
Yes, Raimi did say that Ock was still alive.
And my point with all that was, if DEAD GUYS are making reappearances, how is it so impossible to see a live one reappear? Are you saying people saw Norman in 2 and were confused because he was dead?

Head dingbat [well, after Freezedoom]: "Do you think they will squeeze in the REAL manspider. I mean big fuzzy 8 limbbed spidey. I'd kill to see that. MJ running around screaming....classic. Who agrees?"
Logan: "If they did, I would literally kill someone at Marvel Films, preferrably the head muckety muck, Avi Arad."
Logan, you were conversing with one of the most empty-headed denizens of this entire forum - pay her no mind, she has the IQ of the average sea-slug and makes such incredibly stupid statements on a regular basis.
That said, I got nothing against Mysterio 🙂
Thanks for the reassurance darlin'. 🙂
I don't think it would make sense at all to bring Movie!Ock back. If they had used the real Dr. Octopus, then he'd have escaped as a fugitive, on bad terms with Spider-Man and with no knowledge of Spidey's identity. Having him return would make all the sense in the world and wouldn't be at all awkward. The character Raimi and friends decided to show us shouldn't have been in a Spider-Man film in the first place, much less be brought back after that shameful display of poor writing and plotting.
Then again, I'm looking at it from the point of view of someone who expects quality out of these people. That is no longer the case for me. The more spectacular the failure, the more people will realize the truth, which is why I was pleased at the prospect of Topher Grace playing Venom. What kind of moron would think that was a good idea?? Well, with Topher as Venom, we'd know at least a certain portion of the people who claim to be Spider-Man fans were, in fact, not.
