knowledge, not Saturday-morning-cartoon knowledge. The real deal.If Doc Ock here tells you something about Ock the character, he knows what he's talking about. AFAIK he has almost all Ock's appearances in the books... Ock in the comics has "died" more than once. He has the proverbial nine lives... HE ALWAYS RETURNS.
And if we ever see the Six onscreen, you can bet your bottom dollar Ock will be leading the charge, because the Six have only one real leader and he is it.
Not being ugly at all, but maybe you guys should try actually reading some of these older books. They are most interesting reading, and they answer these type of questions for you right off the bat. [/B]
I have been reading old comic books lately with one of them being Spiderman aand there's a Doc Ock issue too. 😄

In terms of raw genius and technological power, Mysterio is one of the most powerful non-metahuman villains in the Marvel Universe. If he wasn't such an idiot (I mean beyond him being a genius), he'd be considered an A-list villain instead of B-list.
I think he would make a fantastic villain in a movie if done properly.
Interestingly enough, though, I didn't have him set up being in any of the movies in my ideal franchise concept at the Superhero Hype. I oughtta think on that one.

If they did, I would literally kill someone at Marvel Films, preferrably the head muckety muck, Avi Arad. Making a mockery of one of the greatest superhero properties of all time (as well as a huge waste of money, talent and artistic potential) is one thing, but making it a horror movie that would scare even me is unforgivable.

So, people would not understand Ock surviving fusion accident, v.2 but had no problem with Darth Vader's reappearance after a fatal Tie-fighter spin-out into the depths of space...? After all, many fans have knowledge of the books, and know about Ock and his survival of the unlikeliest events. But onscreen, this would be an unfathomable concept? Okay.

And my point with all that was, if DEAD GUYS are making reappearances, how is it so impossible to see a live one reappear? Are you saying people saw Norman in 2 and were confused because he was dead?

I think Mysterio is cooler than Electro. On-screen he can make all these illusions and holograms and show off hollywoods current special effects/cgi. Topher could pull off a Mysterio like the one in the sp2 game. Since Topher's voice is so dull and plain, they could edit it for mysterio. Although electro's cool too.
-for the Ock thing, i didnt know raimi said Ock isnt dead. Although he directed the scene in a way that it appears Ock has died.

But cool looking?? When you compare him to Goblin flying in the air on his glider,or Ock standing masterfully on the clock tower with his tentacles snaking around him,and then you have Sandman......just a guy in a green striped shirt standing in the street.

Sandman has always been a dull villain anyways.He'll be strictly for visuals me thinks.
the Sandman official pic: its just a teaser pic if anything. He'll probably be a side villain to show that spiderman stops super villains practically everday now.

Hopefully you'll be impressed once you see him in action with all the effects and such. I agree he's not the best villain but i havent been following the spoilers like you guys and to see that picture without any warning was pretty cool.
