Same here. You can tell that its fake, and it doesn't look like film quality, but it isn't THAT bad. Hell he looks more realistic than some films out today. Has the same glossy look as Spider-Man there. As Evil Seed said, from a distance it looks pretty good. If some random person could do that, think about how good they could make him look with the proper budget and resources.

...I think you completely missed my point lol. I said it looks pretty good for it not being a film company. Some kid probably made that, and if he could do THAT, think about how a big budget film could make Venom look. That pic obviously is a fake and wouldn't be good in the film, but it doesn't look that bad. Its the closest thing we have to a live-action Venom so far, and doesn't look horrible or hilariously stupid. So if someone with essentially no budget could do that, then a film company that has the money to spend on various people using way better tech with better skills and such, could, and would without a doubt make Venom look much much better. Its not that it may, it definitely would, there's no question in that. That's like saying you may be able to buy more things if you have a job that pays better, no shit lol.
That's definitely a fake pic, but it doesn't look that bad for someone with non-film resources. Of course a fan film isn't gonna be mega quality, and with the proper team and $ backing, we could have one sweet looking Venom. Hell, think about how the aliens looked back in Alien. Awesome. Now we've got years of better CGI to top that.
Of course...that's only if Venom is in the film, naturally. That part still hasn't been established yet either way. (And if anyone wants to fight that, go ahead but you won't make any progress. Its not a yes and its not a no, and you can't tell me I'm wrong in that lol).
