They're good, but waaaaaaaay too much focus on the romance. And are unfaithful to alot of important Spider-Man elements from the comics.
yes, ill compare it to Attack of the Clones. Both have lots of action, but the romance overpowers the rest of the movie i guess. But like SP1's peter parker said "Like every story, this one, is all about a girl..."

Which is BS.Every story is not about one girl.Especially a story like Spider-Man's.
lol, tell that to the guy who wrote spider-man 1, and possibly the others. Every superhero movie has a love story nowadays, and its usually boo hoo, i can't be with you because i'll endanger you, etc, i think SP1 started that trend...

But most movies don't let it dominate the movie's story.Look at Batman Begins.
Sometimes I think these movies should be called 'Peter and MJ,guest starring Spider-Man'
Well, there were 4 main things that made Batman Begins amazing.
1)Christian Bale
2)Morgan Freeman
3)Liam Neeson
4)The theme being fear
With Spidey, his fights are always amazing, and I don't think that this story will honestly have enough room for romance. They've kinda gotten that out of the way, and I bet Gwen will be a minor element. Actually, she's kinda random. Anywho, I think the theme of this one may be either heroism, or the classic quote, ahem.
"With great power, comes great responsibility."
BB was fantastic. Rachel wasn't just a useless screaming bimbo, but she wasn't decked out to be a superhero in herself just because she's a woman (that a lot of stories like to do, either they're a screaming helpless girl, or they have to ''prove that they're just as strong'', which is bs). That made Rachel much more realistic. They didn't write her doing amazing feats, but she was an intelligent woman in the film, so she didn't just scream and go "ah save me!!" the whole time. God I loved Batman Begins lol.
