Sandman is of course dangerous. You don't get a membership in the Six without being dangerous.

The problem with Sandman is that he's an idiot with no real skills.

Someone recently posted a manip of Church [in another forum], it was a pic from another movie - "George of the Jungle"? I think it was...? and they manip-ed in some sand blowing around him, it was just so lame as to be indescribable.

^ Uh, Sandman is a lot more powerful than that. Not only can he turn into a sand-like substance, but he can also control the maleability of it, being extremely hard or soft as Miami Beach sand. He's also as strong as the Thing, around the 85 ton level. This guy is not only a Six member, but also a member of the Frightful Four. More than likely, he could definately fight Mr. Fantastic and Ben Grimm and hold his own for a while. In fact, because of his abilites, Electro wouldn't be a problem for him either. However, like Electro, he's not very bright. Both villains pose different types of threats, just like GG, Venom, and Ock pose different types of threats. So, with Sandman, it's not really chaffing, but more like impalement, being pummeled, or pulled apart. The one person who had no trouble with him was Venom, who poisoned him by biting a chunk out of Sandman.
So, Sandman is pretty hardcore. Case closed, Miller Time. Let's have a cold one. <- NAME THAT QUOTE!

lol strange, anyway I think that since MJ is done after this, so is Tobey, and Franco, I think he might just put Venom in it at the end for a final fight. He ain't doing it anymore probably so I think he will do that and leave the next director to sorta "start over". I mean, continue the story where it left off but new cast and crew.
I'm sure he will show Conners more in this one so that could start Lizard for 4.

i wish thjey would just stay for like 10 films

I never said you claimed GG1 and Octavius were not "big villains." I could go further into this, but I think you're not interested in actual dialog, you just want a response.
For the third time, my original point was not that Venom is not a "big" villain or that he's somehow lesser, I said that the idea that Raimi is somehow going to let him survive the end of the movie onscreen is running against all past precedent. Venom will not receive special treatment from Raimi - should he be in this film - and you can bet large money on it. [if, that is, betting would not automatically turn you into one of us Capitalist Pigs or something.]

Anyway. 10 Films Knightfall? I'd love to see as many films as possible, of course, the doubt it'll ever happen is too great for any fan lol. I can't wait till the technology is great enough that we can have the quality of films we produce now as a weekly tv series. That's gonna be awesome.

NoFate, you are just no fun. You have no idea when you're being ****ed-with... which was absolutely what I was doing. I have no real idea what your living accomodations are; you were replying to my posts with bombast, so I returned the favor. You are the one who brought your lifestyle into the argument, as if that mattered somehow.

I think the problem is that you do not know what hyperbole is and are unable to recognize it when you see it.

However regardless of whether Raimi lets Venom live or not [if he's even in the film], that does not change the fact that a good bit of 3 *will* be taken up by a humdrum, boring villain like Sandman. I am not sure WHY he's a good idea after the mindblowing stuff we saw with GG1 and Ock, why not show us someone really cool?!..... but whatever.

I hope once they recast and "start over" that the movies don't start taking a plunge. I'd hate to have to live through another decline in a super hero movie series.

I know, but I think Spiderman has enough villains to make more movies.
