This is my thought..Mysterio definetly wont be in it (my opinion) Spiderman cant physically fight him really...so he would be lame, and dumb to do for a final to the trilogy, the special effects for shocker would look cool and everythign, but highly doughtful, i think its goign to be sandman , But no Goblin, at least not Harry. He definatly won tplay as a Goblin....Trust me on that one......they even hinted it in Spidy 2 that he wont be the goblin, if your a true fan you woul dhave seen that to......

Mysterio would only work for a fighter if they upgraded him...but your point works perfectly well for Chameleon too. Chameleon isn't a fighter.
I wholeheartedly agree with you that Harry will not be a goblin, and I'm sincerely hoping, for the movie's sake, the gross profit's sake, and for my sake, that they don't make someone the Hobgoblin. It'd be too boring.
Sandman is probably the highest percentage of a choice. He's definitely not who I'd put in there, but it seems as though he's there. Shocker would be perfect for a movie since he has no backstory needed and he's a cool action villain. You know its not gonna be someone like Vulture or Smythe, so its only down to the heavy-hitters and such.
I am really excited to see what sam has in store for the next one, i really appreciate his work. i would like to see shock just as a quick villain maybe even just to start off the movie, and i think the lizard might be the next villain. i also think that at least by the end of the next one youll get to see harry, and theyll prolly make him hobgoblin. i hope they save venom and carnage until they have enough time to put a really good production together and not just throw them in the movie really quickly.
If there's going to be a "passive aggressive" villain in the movie I might consider Sandman to be that passive aggresive villain. In the comics he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, he's more of a henchman.
It's always the smaller, skinner, masterminds that are psychotic and insane. The big strong guys are usually the ones that are passive aggressive until provoked by the small smart guy.
Harry, whether he's a villain in this movie or not, is going to be an insane killer of a villain. In the comics, he dies and that is an emotionally staggering blow to both Spiderman and Peter. There's no reason to believe that Harry would somehow end up as a good guy....because then he'd come back in the next movie as a good guy and that just flat out won't happen.
The tragedy, although very saddening, is what will make a movie great.
