I don't know. I think it's more important to find the right person than to wait until marriage. If that makes any sense. And I must say, given my family I do have a slightly cynical view of marriage...but I do plan on getting married someday. Just not in the near future.

I believe the problem with marriage for most people is trust.
Marriage really puts trusting someone in perspective, and alot of people are afraid of that.If you find that special someone I think its a great idea.
I dont see wasting alot of money on it though.
Well, here's a question for you. Is it better for two people to get married, and then get divorced a year later, or for them to have sex when they're not married, and then break up the same amount of time later? I thought marriage was a sacred institution to you people... And I would think that, valuing it more highly than the rest of us, you would look at the growing divorce rates and see that people who get married don't usually stay that way.

Thats not where i was going...Girls, tend, to have this picture of a perfect wedding in their heads....shit you hear about girls planning that shit way before they ever meet a guy. They come to love this idea and want it regaurdles of whether or not they are ready for it yet. Yeah, shit, i know not all girls want marraige first, it was more of a commentary on the institution of marriage. Yeah i know some of those girls...
My parents got divorced when I was young...the parents of a lot of my friends got divorced...so no, not everyone gets divorced, but a lot of people do. Which is why I'm in no hurry to even worry about getting married, hell, I'm only 18!!! Right now I'm concentrating on college, I'll start thinking about marriage in a few years.

I didn't see the beginning of the conversation but, "Right on, Turbo!". Know yourself before you hitch your soul to someone else.
