Awesome. Cardinals VS. Red Sox in the World Series.
For once, I really don't mind who wins. It kinda sux that they both made it though, cause I would really like to all out root for one team. Whereas both these teams deserve a World Championship.
I will be supporting the Red Sox, but if the Cardinals win I won't be upset.

I'll be rooting for the Red Sox... Since i started hating the Yankees awhile ago... the Red Sox have become one of my favorite teams... so ill be rooting for them.... but i would mind the Cardinals either cause they deserve it and they are red....
I like any Red color baseball team.... here's why
I've always liked the Phillies(red) cause they're my hometown team... I've always like the Reds(red obvisouly) cause when i was 4 my uncle got me into liking them.... and i like the Red Sox(red obviously) cause i hate the Yankees.... so i like any other red team a little.... so i kinda like the Angels... and kinda like the Cadinals... but i don't like them as if there my favorite team.... andif the Yankees were red... I wouldn't like them

i'm torn...i have no idea who to root for...i love watching schilling pitch but cant stand damon....i like edmonds and wouldnt mind seeing him get a ring but the cardinals are probly going to be favored and i'm always for the underdog....i cant stand all this talk about the curse and would like it be put to rest but i do get a kick out of watching boston fans b*tch and moan every year when they are disappointed (except when the lose to the yankees, than i b*tch and moan with them)...either way i'm just looking foward to what will hopefully be an exciting world seris

well these two teams are evenly matched just because john kruk and harold reynolds picked boston dont make them the favorites but i checked the odds myself and in this case i guess it does....boston is an 8-5 favorite over st.lous...i just figured that the way st.louis breezed threw the season they would make them the favorites but i guess bostons home field advantage put them over the top
Home field advantage is a big reason the sox are favored to win, and the fact they were three otsaway from being eliminated, and they come back and win 4 games in a row. Alot of epople are split on who is going to win. I think it will come down to who pitches the best game, who make all the plays, and who socres the most runs.

Well i don't just mean ESPN... but i mean every where i look the Red Sox are picked to win... and yeah i think homefield advantage put them over the top....
but Kruk said Boston would win in 5.... no way... i think its definately going 7... but thats my opinion
I'm sorry but Manny Ramirez is the worst defensive outfielder in the game. The Red Sox better figure out something or else his fielding mistakes are gonna end up costing them a game. He's lucky they pulled it out tonight otherwise he would've been in for a beating, especially with the way he's been hitting.

Barry Bonds is worse. Did ya see him in the world series against the Angels? Geesh! He was horrible. Ramirez has a problem not watching the ball into his glove, whereas bonds has a problem trying to barehand.
I do agree though that Ramirez needs to play much better. As far as "the way he's been hitting", he had an RBI tonight, somethin he didn't do throughout the entire ALCS. His bat will be fine in the Series I think, his glove is what I'm more worried about.
The pitch selection for Arroyo in the top of the 6th was disgusting. You can't throw 5 breaking balls in a row to Edgar Renteria and think you'll get away with it. Did the Sox not remember when he played in the 1997 World Series against the Indians???
i dont think bonds is worse than ramirez...bonds botched the ball which happens from time to time but he didnt make back to back errors...plus did you see him this year?...dudes like 40yrs old and he made some diving grabs and was gunning people put at home plate
that was great game though....i expect to see six more just as good

Hopefully he'll get better, defensively and offensively. He used to be so good, now he's 😐
