Who Erased Kamino?

and GL in Ep 3 dont have the time to 'throw us off' and make us think it was Dooku and make it actully someone else. Their is WAY to much to cover.

I think it would be quick and easy to just make it that Grievous was the Jedi that erased Kamino, and he is Sifo Dyas. That way, the part about him being dead can be explained that he was just about dead and then they made him into a machine (foreshadowing Vader), and that explains how he is a great weapon, because he was a member of the Jedi Council so he must've been powerful, and voila. That gets rid of a lot of minor difficulties and makes it for an awesome villain, instead of just this guy that pops up and then dies.

If the distinction between the EU books and the novelisations of the films are not yet clear to you, they never will be. Nonetheless, you are not correct. Those EU books are not novels. And the novels are not EU.

According to the new EU (ROTS leadin novel) Labyrinth of Evil, Dooku did indeed erase Kamino from the archives and he also killed Sifo Dyas. But Dooku didnt order the clones, it is still unclear as to who did?? I found this info on TFN boards.

Well, I never did say I didn't like it... actually I find it rather amusing. I also find it funny that you responding to what most people would probably consider trolling makes my point out of this whole thread... I'm sure my comments mean nothing, and by all means I'm not trying to stop anyone from discussing their thoughts and ideas... in which case I am expressing mine on how ridiculously hilarious this whole thread is...

i think the line's talking about dooku and sifo's friendship are still in the movie as well as when dooku says he was the one who erased kamino

Grevious is a good idea, but Dooku was training him in the ways of the force already, so I reckon it's Dooku and Sifodias is a red herring

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of evidence to the point Dooku is responsible

well lucas said in an interview 2 years ago that syfo-dyas was in ep2. if anything i believe palpatine aka sidious used that name to get a clone army. just think abought the clues.

clue 1. syfo-dyas was killed during t.p.m

clue 2. when obiwan informed yoda and mace they both glance in a not again way.

clue 3. jango said he was recruted by tyranus aka dooku.

clue 4. palpatine-sidious-syfo-dyas.

the real dyas can be dead but palpatine (sith lord) couldve told the kamino's that he was syfo dyas and the jedi have issued a vote for a clone army.

i would say qui-gon erased the file.

dooku summons jango.

palps places the order and the host.

well the visual dictionary states very explicitly the events:

Dooku, as a Jedi, is Syfo-Dyas' friend. Dyas is planning to order such an army, but has not gone beyond the very initial stages of it. Dooku kills Dyas, hires Jango Fett, and orders the army.

It was Dooku b/c yoda said only a jedi could of erased the files and yoda also said that Count Dooku was a Jedi b4 he turned to the Dark side
