im a big X-Fan. saw this yesterday. know, i keep an open mind to the fact that movies are just adaptions, and in the particular case of X-Men, theres alot of problems.first, jamming 40 years into 2 hours. not going to happen. ive heard alot of people whine about continuity in the movies not being the same as the book. 40 years spanning multiple books at a time<>2 hours. not possible. second, fans demand to see certain characters in movies and are upset if they dont see them, so
it falls to the crew to find a way to try and get the most popular ones in. lastly, and this pertains again to that 40 years, the larger part of persons who will see these movies and i mean vast numbers have no clue who these characters are and all of their background including that which tied into other books and events, and to just plop them in there and expect millions of people to just deal with that is ludicrious, and would cause the films to make no money and in turn the cimci company loses money and cred and go's right back to the wonderful days of that direct-to-dvd fantastic 4 crap, and for those who didnt see that and such other wonderful films like the made for tv but never released on tv Generation X movie and the Dolph Lundgren Captain America movie, and the only Marvel movie with any notariety was Howard The Duck, let me tell you something.
you should feel very lucky the movies are this good in fact that they even exsist at all. if it werent for Marvel films in fact, Marvel would not have come out from bankruptcy and likely would have either tanked by now or have been purchased by somebody else.
now that my motivation is clear so no one quotes and trolls me and makes it look like a fair attempt, i thought the movie was good and really fun. the action was defianatly cool and the characterazations were great as always. i was particularly impressed by Gambit and Wade, and got a kick out of Blob. i also appreciated that Sabretooth
finally had dialogue and came off the sadistic villian he was supposed to be. a great movie unless your the kind of person that gets itchy when a movie and a book are differant. then i reccomend going bowling instead. much easier concept to pull together and doesnt require an imagination.

'coz if it does then Logan blocking Deadpool's "swords" wouldn't make sense, they'd go right through
I didn't like how the bullets were able to pierce his skull. But I guess the explanation for your question is that the force put behind the adamantium bullet is much greater than the strength DP/Wolvie used in their fights.
Please post any further discussion on X-Men Origins: Wolverine here: http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f49/t309839.html
Na, it was just another ridiculous aspect of the movie.
Funny thing, in X1 is Jean was examining Wolverine, there was a picture of his skull in the background, he didn't have two holes, nor were there two small objects (bullets) in his brain cavity.
They really should have done something else to explain the memory loss than using adamantium bullets. Electrical shock, massive blow to the head etc.

indeed
exactly
they should've had a dying Silverfox to "persuade" him to forget so that he can try and lead a normal life or something
