Yikes.
I saw this film Thursday night.
I actually liked it quite a bit. I agree that it has it's flaws, but I don't find the criticisms all that deserving.
I can understand how hard it is to watch these films without basing your opinions on them purely off of comparisons to their comic book source material, but at the end of the day from the perspective of it as a movie and not a comic book, it was pretty damned good.
The only problem for me there was the ending, which felt... I dunno, a bit TOO inconclusive for a Wolverine film. It should have left off with a barfight or something typically Wolverine instead of him amnesic and on the run again with a large sky panout.
I think this movie gets WAYYYY too much criticism for the Deadpool treatment. Wade Wilson's short sequence at the beginning of the movie was funny, badass, perfect.
At the end; the changeup wasn't him, but then again, it isn't a Deadpool movie.
Now I agree, if he isn't "fixed" for his spin-off, then Marvel/Fox fails, however for this film it was fine.
