Dude, I've beaten you at least five times with this debate. Goku is stronger when dead than when alive, he says so himself. And with the mystic power up, Gohan's power does not decrease, Elder Kai indirectly states it in some way or another. Btw, Goku can't even get that much stronger due to him being alive.
And Gokou never says he's weaker. He says he can't hold the full power so he would be weaker sort of but his full power would still be the same. And he's been getting stronger since he was 12 and he's been alive so he can get stronger. He's never said otherwise. And even if Gohan didn't decrease in power 10 years is far enough time for Gokou to surpass somebody who doesn't train.
When does it say he's reached his bodies limits? He had a limit to what he had then but he also had a limit when he fought Radditz that he surpassed. He had a limit after he fought Vegeta that he surpassed when he got to Namek. Just because he had a set limit one time doesn't mean anything. He can still get stronger.
If he's reffering to the time when Goku was dead bitween the Cell games and the start of the Buu saga, then I can easily say he got stronger by bucketloads, he not only acheived SS2, but also SS3.
If he's talking post Kid Buu saga, well, we simply don't know how much he improved because his limits where never pushed during the fight with Uub.
One thing people have to remember, is Goku is also VERY experienced in fighting.
Another reason I think he's gotten stronger than Gohan is because he trains Uub so he'll have somebody to fight so he apparently doesn't consider Vegeta or Gohan at his level so he wants to unlock Uub's hidden power that was that of Kid Buu's...which either might mean he'll train Uub to get stronger than Gohan since he has the power of Kid Buu hidden, Kid Buu was stronger than Gohan, or Gohan has gotten weaker (which is probably it).
Wrong order, it's "Kid Buu>Super Buu absorbed Gohan, Gotenks, Piccolo>Super Buu absorbed Gotenks, Piccolo>Super Buu>Pure Evil Buu>Fat Buu".
Thats my oppinion in a nutshell.
I say this not only because of the "Viciousness" of the attack, but the fact that Kid Buu not only regenerates twice as fast as any previous Buu, but also displays far more power in his attacks, for example, popping planets every few seconds is a very impressive feat.
Wasn't Gohan actually winning against Gotenks absorbed Buu? I may be remembering that part wrong, it may be just Piccolo absorbed Buu, but I'm not too sure.
