It was even actually less than half of his original face 😛 (only one of the cheeks on the side of Cooler's face or something had remained after burning on the sun).

Regardless of being aided by the Big Gete Star though, it's impressive that part of Cooler even managed to survive at all, whereas nothing remained of Broly when he burned (then again, Broly had Goku, Gohan, and Goten doing a Kamehameha Wave on him, whereas Cooler on the other hand only had Goku deflecting his blast back at him & knocking him towards the sun).

For the same reason Trunks and Goten were never born with tails (even though Gohan was regardless that he's only half Saiyan like those 2). A plothole. 😛

Hmm. I think he did, but it was just off-screen, as they were focusing too much on showing Yamcha throw around his Spirit Ball...

In any case, that was pretty interesting to see again. Haven't seen it since forever, and even now, those 2 ancient Saiyans still give me the creeps. 🤪

I could have SWORN that he shot a bunch of blasts at the saiyans from every direction... Guess my memory was off.

Those saiyans were pretty badass. But I like how after they get out their like "Well, I think we might be able train up to beating them" only to hear Nappa and Vegeta were at least 2x them.
