When you say chosen. Do you mean that person has chosen, to be that sexuality. You can't chose, you either are or you arn't.
They say, 'what makes you what you are, happens in the first 2 years of your life'.

You can't choose your sexuality.

If that was the case, don't you think a lot of these confused teenagers out here would just choose their sexuality and get it ove with.

The reality of it is they can't. They are thinking one thing and going by what society has labeled normal whie heir body and emotions and hormones are telling them something else.

If we could choose our sexulality don't you think that everybody would be happy and content with their sexuality instead of confused and mad that they think a certain way and are attracted to a certain sex that they wish they weren't. Obviously the people that are going through this didn't choose their sexuality because they are not happy.

I am not saying by any means that homosexual are unhappy with their sexuality but some, especially teens are overwhelmed and ashamed when they discover they are attracted to the same sex. It's called staying in the closet.

Now who would "stay in the closet" when they could easily choose to be heterosexual and live a more "accepted" life.

bottom line, every man is going to be forty some day, so you think maybe that anual physical won't be so unpleasant if you and you're significant other of either gender have been practicing?

Hold on, I know I said I wouldn't post in this topic again...but the damn email notices won't let me forget it exists! I have always liked guys...and I have never...NEVER...wanted to be attracted to, date or find attractive...anyone else. Despite the fact that I was younger at one point and had relationships with girls, I wouldn't trade being gay for anything in the world. I enjoy and appreciate who I am and what I am. I say that as I'm about to walk out the door to a gay club. I wouldn't trade who and what I am for anything in the world.

but capt, you know damn well that there r thousands of people out there who are angry at themselves and ashamed for liking people of the same sex. 😬 I mean let's accept it, the popularity still doesnt accept homosexuals

Yeah but thats the reason why they are angry cause the people don't accept it, if everyone would accept it then those people would accept what they are too.

exactly, but we can't force people to accept them, I mean there will always be the stuborn republicans cursing people for liking people of the same sex, is inevitable, it's fu.cking unfair, but there's nothing we can do about it

Well yes actually there is, we can convince people, educate them so to say....actually baning Christianity (although I in no way would support that) might help a lot over the right amount of time.

Yes I said I was kiddin...it is not a possibility, although it might solve this problem it would create a lot of others.

Well, you will have to tell in schools that you have to be open minded...the media must do it too ... it will work eventually...they can't be ignorant forever...look how it worked out with Blacks

And I'm sorry to say this but in the near future I find it VERY VERY hard that homosexuals will be accepted in society like everyone... there will ALWAYS be people trying to humilliate them, as there will be people who won't.

Yes buit over a few generations it will be more and more people that accept it...it will die out I am sure of that.
