Sex is not the same for men as for women (oh, can't wait to here the reactions to that statement). In any event, some men may choose; I've never heard of one.
I guess another way to put it is this: there may be a "continuum," so to speak, of homosexuality, with men more on the "genetic" end. But I would agree with Draco69: very often it is a reaction on some women's part to forgo the male, at least for a spell
Because we are raised in a patrochial society where masculinity is the number one value instilled into men.
When a woman wrongs a man you are taught to either A) respond in violence or B) shrug it off.
Women however are given more leeway because the social pressures of masculinity is greater than accepted feminity. Nowadays it's OKAY to act outside the norm of a typical housewife. In fact it's encouraged. But for a man to start acting outside the social norms of a what is expected of a man is social suicide.
Has anyone stopped to consider just how unlikely this whole lesbian sex business really is? I mean honestly - two women kissing passionately and rubbing their hands all over each other's soft, smoooth, naked bodies, tumbling around together on the eiderdown in a sensuous embrace and gently feeling their way to mutual ecstacy. That has to be a hoax up there with the Hitler diaries and crop circles.

I disagree, straight people are capable of understanding homosexuals cannot help their sexual orentation, I know straight people who do.I'm gay by the way so my opinion is unbiased.
