Which is what my question has always been. If I am going to burn in hell for all eternity, then why would you want to make my life miserable now? If I have an eternity of hell to look forward to, isn't that comforting to those who believe that I live a life of sin? A reasonable person would assume so, however I think it illustrates how uncertain those people are in their choice of religion. Maybe they don't believe in it as strongly as they would like to think they do, maybe they still doubt. I mean, if me burning in hell forever doesn't satisfy them, then maybe nothing does. Maybe not god or their church or me not being able to marry my boyfriend. Nothing will ever please them.

A valid point, but if the Bible is the cornerstone of your morals and ethics, who are we to judge?

I think their excuse would probably be something like they are trying to save your soul.... they don't realize that there are millions of people who are quite happy with their soul just the way it is now and have no desire to be saved by the christians or anyone else. I don't know if you mentioned earlier... are you christian?

I was raised in a Catholic home and went to Catholic school my entire life. So, yeah, I've BEEN Christian. However, as I went through high school and witnessed first hand the hypocrisy of the Catholic church and many of it's officials, I stepped out. I couldn't tolerate listening to them talk about how much we needed to do for our less fortunate neighbors, while they were driving BMWs and living in staffed mansions with servants.
I would sit through world religion class and swaer my ears were starting to bleed. Every time one point was made about another religion, there would be a foot note in the discussion made by the teacher that somehow illustrated that that manner of thinking wasn't legitimate.

Agreed, you can be bigoted whatever you believe......I was just trying to say that out of all the preachers I have seen, FE hasn't come across as terribly bigoted to me 😬
Omega--I don't answer alot of your questions because you say them out of hate and anger towards me, and I choose not to go there with you. Now, if you want to talk, discuss, debate, thats fine w/me, but I will NOT argue and fight w/you, to me it's not worth it.
I do have very strong beliefs, and one more time I will state this:
this is a forum to debate, discuss, talk, NOT argue, belittle and name call. Just cuz I have strong beliefs and state them here, as i've said many times, I do NOT go around judging people and telling them they are wrong they are going to burn in hell!!!! I know/and have been around gays, do I treat them different NO, do i talk to them, YES. I don't act any diff around them than I do anyone else. This is a place to state your opinions, and thats what I do HERE. Just cuz I believe diff, is NO just cause for belittling and name calling, I will NOT go there with anyone, it's not worth it to me. Before I moved,(and i was offline for awhile) I did get into some heated discussions and did get mad a few times, I am not going there anymore. That solves absolutely nothing and i'm just not going to do it.

Both are true, but rather stupid in their own right. Many women are more intelligent than me, and many women are stronger as well. I'm not a member of the absolutes so it's useless.
