You're absolutely right, straight people need to be ever vigilant. My friend told me that the other day he was fairly certain he saw one in the public restroom, he said he heard a high pitched noise and noticed movement from his peripheral vision, but by the time he he tucked away his johnson, zipped up his pants (one doesn't want to temp the homosexual) and pulled out his camera-phone to document and validate the sighting the supposed homosexual had already vanished into the stall.

Damn, you're lucky, another guy I know had to fend off over fifty homosexuals by using a combination of small arms fire and hand to hand combat. They did manage to take his penny loafers though...

Dogs are also not intelligent to know what sexual reproduction is. And yet the act of sexual reproduction is performed.
Homosexuality is sexual attraction to one's same gender. Any animal on earth is capable of homosexuality since sexual attraction takes place in animals. Like lions.
Hell, they even perform "mating" rituals with each other and fight over other "mates". What's interesting is that the rituals are completely different from opposite-sex mating rituals.
Unfortunately, we once again fall into the "two camps" dilemma where one side who believes homosexuality is a choice believes that the definition of homosexuality is the act of sexual activities with one's own gender. The other side who believes homosexuality is not a choice knows the true definition of homosexuality recommended by the American Psychological Association and every reputable scientific establishment in the world, is the sexual attraction or orientation to one's own gender.
In a sense both camps are right depending on their definition of homosexuality.
However the flaw with the choice camp is that anyone who's had sexual activities with both genders is a bisexual by theory. If a gay teenager has sex with a girl to prove his "straightness", hates it and finally comes out of the closet as a gay man, than the choice camp would define him as bisexual....
Every porn star in the industry would be considered bisexual because of their job according to the choice camp. Which simply isn't true....
every human being is attracted at least to some degree to a person of their same gender. like it or not. it has occurred to much in history and continues to happen. it has to be something in us. i believe god put a homosexual tendency in humans as a population control. to keep us from overpopulating the world to fast. and anyone who dares to say god would not do that remember this, god made homosexuals the same way he made you. learn some tolerance and get over yourself. you do not have a monopoly on god, he belongs to everyone regardless of who you like to sleep with.

The answer to this question is, quite frankly, neither. The formulation of the either/or question in this case expresses a naivete in regards to human sexuality, which is hopelessly fraught with both complex, deeply seated anxieties and symbol-making conceptualizations.
The only thing biological about human sex is the drive itself, which is rather amoral and amorphous. I would venture to say that there is no such thing as either a hetero or homosexual gene. Genetics do not determine human sexuality. Sexuality is largely framed within the subconscious mind. Sexual compulsion, or fetishization are little different than kleptomania, pyromania, suicidal impulses, etc...They are elaborate symbols of inner psychic turmoil. There is nothing chosen about it. We have drives and desires that we cannot account for or control. What we may control are the outward expression of destructive impulses, but little more. Society and cultural taboos shield us from the utter chthonian darkness of unfettered appetite.
Heterosexuality generally predominates because our self-perception is colored by the bodies we inhabit. Anatomical differences in men and women affect distinct psychological and cognitive frameworks. The male penis is a projecting instrument and, during sexual arousal, an erect projection of self. Consequently, men have historically been conceptualizers, and visibly oriented. They construct inflexible, compartmentalized egos that tend to eschew ambiguity and indeterminacy. They are also prone to fits of obsessive-compulsive energy, a tendency that mirrors the anxiety of sexual performance itself.
Female genitalia are enclosed and concealed. The vagina doesn't display a ready-made geometry or lend itself to easy objectification. What's more, women's bodies are beset by the merciless rhythms of nature. The menstrual cycle remind women that, try as it might, the mind cannot permanently free itself from the fetters of matter. Correspondingly, women have historically been less apt to construct elaborate symbols or conceptually project. As a rule, women are not as morally or emotionally naive as men, not as prone to enact elaborate quest fantasies. Women do not have to perform to be women. Like the Mona Lisa, they are self-knowing loci of natural generative power.
These basic pychological differences, caused by our gendered bodies, probably account for the common, almost universal dispositions of attraction/repulsion towards the opposite sex. Men are predatory questors. Women are the veiled temples men wish to simultaneously worship and profane. Society has not made this so. Our bodies entrap us in fascist sexual politics. In some form or another, even when colored by sentiment, sex is always a power game.
The male desire to worship and profane the female body is also mired in anxiety. As Freud observed, the wife is also the enfantalizing mother. Female sex is dangerous to the male because it threatens to steal away his male rigidity, both physically and psychically. The male always leaves the vagina less then when he entered. Cultural archetypes of the Medusa, the Goragan, and the vagina dentata, portray this sexual fact in myth. If maleness is essentially performance, then the mother is the initial obstacle the boy must overcome to become a man. Male rituals of initiation into the separate agonic male world of struggle and achievement are pervasive in every culture. The wife brings this initial psychic crisis of the male back to the forefront. The husband asks himself, will I retain my independence, my hard-won automony? Or will I become my wife's instrument? The hen-pecked husband is the spectre of castration that haunts the self-conscious male.
Male homosexuality is probably a complex emotional/psychological reaction to this latent male fear/veneration of female sexual power. Issues of sexual attraction aside, male homosexuality, since the 19th century has been just as much about cultural revolt as sexual liberation. Its cultural symbols imply a love of clear, male Apollonian order free from the generative messiness of female anatomy. Male homosexuality, at least in part, is an aesthetic/cognitive manifesto of revolt against material encumbrance and lack of proper form. It is a subconscious revulsion transformed into a conscious opposition to conventional male sexual anxiety.

are you serious. now you are comparing homosexuals and psychopaths. i know you were just making a point that god made them too. got you. realize the profoundness of that statement. god makes everyone and loves them regardless of who and what they are. god makes everyone and everything. and he loves them even if they turn from him and kill people because there is still forgiveness or did you miss that day. seriously do not say that god dislikes or disapproves of homosexuality you do not know and have no right to speak for god on this issue anymore than paul did. and by the way there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. or do you think there is.
