It depends on how far it goes, I mean designer children that say, will live longer, be more resistant to normal disease causing pathogens, immune to genetic diseases and so forth would be fine in my books. Who knows, is there even really much wrong even with say letting them run faster or think Smarter? Although it would be quite bad if such technology was used to eliminate free will, or was only available for the rich.....
I'm not a religious person but I do believe that something very smart and good created us and the universe.
I believe that the big bang and evolution are all part of gods master plan. Like a computer program, you write your code and then let the program run.
I really hope that god made a sexuality failsafe so that if a sexuality gene is ever discovered, it would be impossible to alter.

Children slowly start to become aware of thier sexuality between the ages of 5-8, this awareness grows more as they approach puberty.

I was comparing your general disapproval of gay people, simply because they are gay, to a dislike of black people simply because they are black.
And then you said that you'd approve gay people if they didn't act on gay feelings, and pretened to be straight. and Thats like telling a Black person that you'd accept them if they painted them selves white and lived a lie their whole lives.
Do you think someone would really choose to be gay? Choose to be ridiculed and ostricized so mush that their entire being is widly used as an insult? Ex. "You ***!" or "That just Gay."
Do they really want to not have a family and kids? I don't think so!

While I do agree that her opinion is wrong and she is misinformed and simply tries to start fights. I've posted questions to her, and when faced with an intelligent point of view she ignores the question and focuses on starting more fights and telling people they're stupid back.
As I said before. It doesn't matter that she thinks it's an illness. It's insulting, but it really doesn't matter. Like I said, it is a fact of life(natural or not) and the world will either accept it, or they won't. But that doesn't mean that it's going to change. I deserve the same dignity and respect that any other human being deserves.
Maybe when this thread gets back to the point and everybody stops paying this kid so much attention, I'll care again. As it is now, I'm not playing games with this girl anymore.
