Someone who thinks that homosexuality is learned, please explain to me what parent in their right mind would teach their kids how to be homosexual? Or encourage them to be gay, or expose them to it? The only way a child is going to learn to be gay, is if they seek it out due to a predisposition to it. Which, would mean it was something more than a learned behavior.

That theory holds no water. Seriously, someone tell me what you think my parents, relatives or friends did in my childhood that made me choose to be gay. It's just silly.

Duh. Homosexuality is not choice. The only people that I've met that believe that it is a choice also believed that the Salem witch trials were a good thing.

I don't think I ever said that homosexual tendencies are only down to environment. I actually said that it stems from a bundle of things. Yes, I appreciate that it can be genetic, but I also think that it has a lot to do with surroundings. I'm not implying that the parents say "Yes, go forth into the world and screw ass!" That's utterly ridiculous and I really don't see how you drew that conclusion from my posts. I meant that in society today it's more likely that a child would be subject to various things that could add to the decision in sexual preference. I believe in opening a child's viewpoint, I don't think it's right to suffocate them.... in doing so the child is sure to become ignorant and naive. Which is unfair. I think I'm trying to say that although there may already be an ingrained sense of homosexuality, it is the environmental pressure that brings it to the surface, not simply the genetic coding.
