Kiara at first blinked and tried to understand what the hell the guy was talking about. A doctor? Maybe they meant Professor Yang, but she didn't recall him having a doctor degree. So something else was going on and she was somehow involved in it.
She decided to try the best method for avoiding unwanted questions: asking more.

Some pieces start to fall into place for you: a doctor is missing or dead and they think you did it... You now know that you're dragged into it.
