If you actaully read my post, wolverine had already talked to shield. he gave his answer clearly. They never asking Blade to bring Wolverine in for them to talk to him. They wanted him capture and brought in so that he would not be a threat. But of course you would not know context becuase you never read the arc nor do I bet you even read the issue.

Blade was trying and was failing badly. Then he went for his hail marrie play which would not have work anyways, all logan had to do with pop his claws and blades head would have been gone.
