Well that's not exactly accurate at all.
Spiderman isn't definitively stated as being faster than other superheroes, and infact many of the encounters between him and other superheroes imply differently... He IS stated as being superhuman in speed... but let's get real all streeters worth their salt are superhuman in speed... It isn't just about the relativity of his feats to other generic feats. The relativity is why a lot of people contend that he isn't on another level of speed.
And yet...
All we're treated to is his superhumanhood for reference. 😬
Even then we all give Spiderman a benefit of the doubt. Most of us with brains in our heads have no problems admitting he's faster than most streets and better at using his speed than most anybody. We just don't think he's "can't ever be hit" kind of fast.. because he isn't.
Sabretooth IS definitively stated as being faster than Wolverine. It isn't something worth dismissing.
He's also referenced as having inuman speed and that was ALSO mutliple upgrades ago.
Even by your notions about superhuman traits I'd think you would be supportive of Sabretooth in this thread CM. 😬 I mean Creed is VASTLY more superhuman than Blade is.
This isn't so much relativity, it's more due to what kinds of feats Creed does have. It's like Lizard. He doesn't have generic speed feats, but statements about his speed and how he performs in fights with Spiderman are enough to give him a reputation for speed...
So why when Sabretooth has all the proof to back the claim, is he not also given this same treatment? 😕
