I'm betting Big Mom will be allying with the Strawhats IF the rumor that she's Lola's mom turns out to be true. There's a reason Big Mom was chasing the rest of the Strawhats with Nami on board.

I saw chibi Jewelry Bonney, will she be there for the "big mom arc"? I always believe she is the other daughter and sister of Lola.

It's almost like the pacing of this arc is terrible or something.

Are samurai and son ever going to amount to anything? For two guys sailing with the crew they're the most forgettable characters in recent memory.

I've got a theory on why Big Mom is so big: It must've been the candy being supplied by Caesar Clown from Punk Hazard.
She prob was regular-sized back then when she gave birth to Lola. The candy transformed her into that huge monster.

Rumors about her DF powers is that she has a special model Hito Hito no Mi. Probably a witch, like that one from Hansel and Gretel. If not, it probably has something to do with acid.

Can't wait for the Kaidou arc to start. Looks like Luffy and the gang got a lot of shit on their plate this time. They're gonna need all the help they can get. The situation they're in is much worse than Dressrosa arc.

Yea, I literally forgot a Yonkou showing up ^^;

There's gotta be a samurai arc coming up.

It does strike me how... convenient... it is, that whenever Luffy deals with a corrupt Shichibukai, the nearest ranking navy officer is of a mind to give him a pass and not take advantage.

That is a bad sign. Still rather enjoyed the arc.

Well of course but the characters need to at least be kind of engaging before they get to Wano. Vivi never seemed unimportant like Kinemon and Momonosuke.

The Samurai did seem a bit more important after Punk Hazard, but a gianormous arc where they do little does reduce their momentum, yea.

Vivi earned her slot as honorary Straw Hat ^^

Don't forget about Aokiji just showing up at Water 7 after the Enies Lobby stuff lol. And Kuma appearing a couple times. Luffy has the devil's own luck.

That I don't mind as much. Aokiji actually had a reason to be interested, and Kuma too.

There's a lot of players, bumping into them occasionally isn't absurd, it's just the ones around when the worst battles happen, tend to break in Luffy's favor.

Imagine of Akainu or Kizaru had been present here instead....

I actually can't believe Oda of all people pulled the amnesia card. What a silly man.

It was kinda unnecessary too.

I mean, Amnesia could be fun, but it was entirely off-screen amnesia!

Well it makes Sabo not showing up at Marineford make sense but it isn't the most interesting explanation since it can go for any character.

Example:

Obito: "Where am I? Who am I?"
Madara: "You don't remember who you are?"
Obito: "No. Why? Who are you?"
Madara: "....I can show you the world~"
