as long as the 3 work as a unit and manouver spidey into i dnt know dodge caps sheild then DD's billy club but then dsnt have enuff time to recover from a slash to wolvy spidey is beaten, if they try attacking him individualy however Spidey would pwn them. (well ok spidey has outmanuverd the x-men like in secret wars) but i think having cap as the leader of the group will tip the favour. Of course i could be annoying and say if they were fighting him when he was captain universe they would have no chance but i won't.
Cap wouldn't be of much use in a random situation, with guys like DD and wolverine anyway.
Without CIs, spiderman beats Cap about 9/10 (with a punch to the head) and DD 9/10( with a punch to the head)
That leaves wolverine, who he can outmaneuver and web very easily.

5. Spider-Man will probably fight like he always fights, when outnumbered : he controls the fight from above. He can just crawl up a wall and web up the Icon Trio. Or throw some cars to them. He can avoid the shield and the billy club all day long if he wants to. Fact.
And for the last time, the Trio has a good chance of defeating him, but only with some preptime and when they work together smoothly. NOT when they just ran into each other. Spider-Man is too unpredictable, too fast and too strong.
I feel like this is the best post in the entire thread.
Considering the length of this thread, that's giving a great deal of credit to Who?-kid.
I feel like his post really breaks the situation down. These points are really hard for anybody to deny. Including the trio supporters.
After considering these points, its hard to deny that Spiderman should be the victor.
