For everyone who is still anti-smoke, you should watch the above link.
(It's only the first 15 minutes, not all of the video.)

Why is this seen as a bad thing? Smoking hasn't been banned completely, it has just been somewhat resctricted.

Why? Even non-smokers get 2, 3, even 4 breaks a day. Why can't someone who smokes go outside and smoke a cigarette during his 15 minutes?
I imagine your workplace laws to be somewhat different to ours. Over here, we work an 8 hour day, allowed one fifteen minute break, and one half hour lunch break per day. Other workplaces allow only a one hour break per eight hour day. Smokers are allowed more breaks per day in many workplaces-2-5 minute breaks at a time, 3-4 times per day. The same isn't said for non-smokers, which is why I believe eithor smoke breaks be banned outright in workplaces-with the exception of a lunch break, or non-smokers be given extra breaks too.

I agree. Which is why if you don't like smoke, you shouldn't go into a place where smoking is allowed.
See it this way: Lets say smoking was allowed in bars and clubs all across the country. Are you saying that if people don't want to around smoke, they should keep away from bars and clubs? Should non smokers refrain from having a night out just because they dislike smoke? What about those people allergic to smoke? Should they look themselves indoors?

Yes, because obviously the only time you would ever see this label is when the cashier hands you the cigarettes.
Not true over here. Cigarrettes are usually openly on display, with the front of the packet viewable to customers. Customers ask the shopkeeper to turn the packets over, because they don't like the graphic images.

Should we ban murder on film? Adultery? Drinking? Stealing? At what point does it stop being mild censorship and become outright propoganda?
Another tough question, and I see where you are coming from. I really don't know at which point it becomes propaganda. Your answer really made me think, and as of now I cannot think of a suitable reply, so watch this space.

I would love to know who these people are.

I don't know about your school, but my high school covered smoking in Health class.
You were lucky. I was never taught anything about this at all. I wish I had been.

And here, as long as I get my job done I can take as many as I want. Because my job gets done. Tonight I'm going to be here until around midnight to finish something that needs to be finished, and I'm going to take as many smoke breaks as I please. My supervisors know I'll do what it takes to get the job done, and therefore they leave me alone to do what I want to do.

B: The point was that when someone buys cigarettes, they're going to see the label whether it's on display at the store or not.

The results of a large-scale inquiry show that three quarters of the Belgian population is all for non-smoking restaurants.

Govt's shouldn't be allowed to place a ban in places that are privately owned. That's the business owners decision.
