You know what's annoying?

The title of this thread.

Yeah I know.

Boy, I wish someone had the power to change it, oh well.

I do not smoke, but the smell of smoke has nothing to do with it, that aspect doesn't bother me.

WTF? Yes, genetics do play a role in cancer and sickness, but do you seriously think there are people with a "anti-tobocca-cancer-gene"? That is a lame argument.

I would say this contradiction is lamer than the "anti-tobocca-cancer-gene". So you agree wih me that genetics play a role(and a big one, like lung diseases) but you don't believe in the "anti-tobocca-cancer-gene"? Did I say people where invuneralbe to lung cancer, no, I said your genetics factor on lung disease, and 2nd hand smoke may trigger it, but you would have to be around alot of smoke to trigger it, and thats not a smokers fault, so what gives you the rights to take away there rights.

Have you ever been in a nonsmoking section? Smoke still travels there. As far as why so many laws to protect nonsmokers, that goes back to the the health issues, why should a nonsmoker potentially have to suffer health problems for pleasure he/she doesn't partake in?

Yea, I have been in nonsmoking sections, and other than walking through the smoking section I haven't had any problems with smoke getting into my system. If your inhaling too much smoke in the nonsmoking section, than move farther away from the smoking section. And even if your stuck by the smoking section and you don't smoke or hang around smokers than you got nothing to worry about, espicially since the smell of smoke doesnt bother you, 20 minutes of being around smoke isn't gonna give you lung cancer, even if you do have shit genetics .

People worry so much about second hand smoke yet could care less about the preservatives, additives, MSG, and by products they ingest without a second thought....It's the "let's look at others, take away their rights, blah blah.. when we should be looking at ourselves."
