Thor vs Doomsday

Thor killed himself to destroyed I didn't say he beat thanos or other beings I stated read it again thor had fought many beings that would crush doomsday in seconds. thor is a god superman is not. Thor has many weapons that he can use, look again what i wrote, it's funny that you pick certain things out of my thread. Thor hammer can kill anything when charge, belt of strength. mystic armor which is indistructable, gaunlets to wear to unleash the hammer true power. No where in your post did you say Thor has fought many beings "that would crush Doomsday in seconds."

All you said was that Thor fought Thanos, Galactcus, etc. etc. I clearly stated fighting a being is different than beating a being.

His God status means absolutely nothing. He has been defeated before, he has been outsmarted, and he has been wrong about things. Gods are omnipotent...they don't make mistakes, they can't be beaten, God are supposed to be incapable of mistakes.

Mjolnir is his only "weapon." The rest of the things you stated are articles of clothing or armor...some augment his powers, but they themselves are not "weapons."

Horrible grammar and English aside....

Juggernaut, Exitar, and Galctcus all were albe to survive Thor's "strongest" attack.

Exitar was able to do it while the Belt of Strength was wrapped around Mjolnir helping to contain the power of the blast. The blast was so strong that after it, Mjolnir crumbled.

When Thor went into Exitar's head, acidic minions who's job was to protect Exitar's brain were able to destroy this "indestructable" mystic armor.

And you've got to be kidding me about killing 4 Celestial Gods. I'll believe it when I see some form of proof.

Back to the drawing board.

You gotta understand Thor has more superhuman strength than the Hulk who proved capable of lifting 150,000,000,000 tons of weight during the secret wars, and thor can put on his belt of strength and double his power. He also wields the Odinforce he inherited form his father which rates amongst the more powerful beings of marvel, he is also powered by asgardian runes. And about Thor's speed, with the Odinforce and even without he has superhuman speed nearing supermans, surfers, and gladiators. I don't think Doomsday stands a chance.

umm a few things, first off, since when is thor physically stronger than Hulk? WTF? at base strength..... maybe, have you seen many of the thor vs. hulk fights? they ain't pretty (for thor I mean)
second, so what about Hulk's speed? DD's been compared to the flash beofore.
and third, you should probably stop arguing with linkalicious....I'll i see is him humiliating you.

if it was the doomsday that supes fought... then id give the win to thor after a long hard battle. supes had a difficult time with dd coz supes was too one dimensional in his fight. thor has such a variety of attacks he could use on dd. the godforceblast could easily kill dd, end of story.

even if dd gets resurrected and goes after thor, thor might be king thor in that time already and has new ways to kill dd then.

I assume that when you refer to him as "the Doomsday that Supes fought" you are only refering to when Superman came back to life and kicked his ass.

Did you ever actually read what happens when Doomsday gets ressurected? He tore through Apokolips, nearly killed Darkseid, beat the sh!t out of Superman....and didn't even get hurt.

Supes dodged his lunge and Gabriel opened up a portal to the End of Time that Doomsday fell into. Apparently Brainiac freed him, but I never read that comic.

I do agree that physically Thor can't win this.

I am sure he can hold him off and send him to another dimension for a win.

seriously, read about the improvements that motherbox gives to superman, Superman addmitedly states that for his fight with DD in hunter prey he was using all of his powers to their fullest, he said that he had to use the combination of his speed, flight, heat vison, super strength, and mother box weapons in order to fight DD the second time, he realized that trying to use just brute strength was no way tofight DD, and DD kicked his ass anyway, all the amped up superman did was slow down the inevitable, if superman hadn't found a loophole through using the time gauntlet, DD would have killed him.

Once again I plea..........Thor can't take on Hulk most of the time, what do you think DD would do to him?

Hulk gets stonger and stronger , if he last long enough one punch will send doomsday flying to another galaxy.

he has no limits on how much power he can get.

because DD gets stronger and stronger too. Superman is physically stronger than the Hulk, DD is stronger than Supes by leagues, DD secrets poisons, that would slow hulks healing factor down, and DD has already been beaten by brute force anyway which is all Hulk's got. DD has even been able to adapt or evolve past attacks during the attacks....he doesn't need death to evolve, as is the general misconception. Hulk (if he's reeeeeeeeeallly pissed can at best hold DD at a stalemate, but never beat him. logically anyways.

Actually, Superman openly admits that Hulk is stronger, but Hulk has never dominated Superman like Doomsday does.

Superman gets nightmares about Doomsday...not Hulk

lol. when did supes admit to Hulks strength advantage, wasn't that in a fight that lasted two days or so? anyways the other two times these two fought superman just stood there taking Hulk's blows like they were coming from a 4 year old, and the other time supes kicked hulks ass.
Now I know there's that 3rd crossover where the two throw down, but I haven't been able to get my mitts on that one yet.

If it was Thor with his father's Odin Force, he will defeat Doomsday. Normal Thor would probably get killed. He'd put up a fight, but he'd die. The same with Superman. King Thor + Superman = King Thor winner.

I have some $10 one that was written in...ummm....1999 I believe.

Hulk goes on a rampage in the desert and Superman goes to stop him. Somehow Superman gets him in a bear hug and when Hulk breaks free by slamming his arms outward...the resulting force sent Superman up to the tip of the atmosphere.

Superman then proceeded to use heat vision and his brain to make Hulk get sick of fighting Supes...so he just jumped off into the sunset.

yep that's the one i haven't been able to get yet. how long did the fight last?

There were two Supes/Hulk fights in that book.
It was superbly written. Great artwork.
I highly recommend that book.
It feels like a cross between an old Lee/Kirby comic
and an old Superman comic.
A treat for long-time comic fans.

I just liked how Superman was able to say Hulk was stronger....but still proved that muscles aren't everything.
