however, bush's tax cuts have been proven to mostly benefit the 1% richest in america. the basis of his tax cuts are the idiotic concept of trickle down economics, which was attempted in the 80's and led to a defecit...surprise surprise.

Jackie> I think you have your political parties a little backwards. It's common knowledge that Bush gives huge tax cuts to the top 1 or 2% income earners. Tax cuts are lame anyways, what any logical person would do is just tax all of us the same percent of our incomes, no matter what. It would solve a ton of problems.

You might say i am the ignorant one. However, i am not the one who is addicted to crack stalking the hard working people on the city streets for money and plotting scams on them. Yeah there are some people who lose everything, and they have exhuasted all goverment programs to try and get help,but the majority of people on the streets wouldnt be there with a little bit of determination, and ambition.
I walk through downtown pittsburgh everyday. NOT ONE day am i not bombarded by junkies and young men asking me for money, they dont just ask, they persist for blocks. Every day i here the same quote from someone different. "you have money, and i have nothing" I swear on my soul i here this every god damn day. How many times can i say to them "thats because i have a job and choose to work hard"?. I hate to break everyones bubble, but it isnt hard to get off the streets, if your willing to ask for help from certain programs. It may be hard to stay off the streets, but it isnt as hard to get off them. I have been around the atmosphere, i have experienced it before, and still do through watching friends.
to follow up on your bash twords me, if i did lose everyhting i own, it would be things that i have earned, not things that were given to me. you eigther need to learn the meaning of sarcasm, or take a chill pill and realize that this isnt public affairs,but an interent forum, where opinions on the board hold no bearing outside of interspace. One more peice of information for you people. This is a true fact taken from a study from the local radio station...102.5. Someone from the radio station followed a panhandler one day. The guy that was being followed was on the streets for five hours. After these five hours the man went into a gas station and got a $342 money order, went into his car and drove off, his 2000 eclipse. Not a bad way to make a living.

It's harder to find a job than you think. And we're not necessarily talking about hobos here, we're talking about something called a low-income earner. It means they have jobs, and work hard, but their jobs do not pay well and they are not educated enough to get a better job. Often because they were born into poverty. Plus, I don't know where you get this idea that all homeless people beg for money, which is certainly what you've implied.
I can understand being annoyed by people who beg for money, because I sometimes am too. But I don't hate all poor people because of the relatively small percentage of them who pester everyone in sight for money. You're still ignorant.
