What race is your Jesus?
Simple question, really.
Lots and lots of Christians interpret their messiah as white, black, or most any other race/skin color.
When I used to be a Christian, I visualized Christ as a white man, because my semi-racist family would not accept it any other way. I mean, Christ was good enough to die on the cross for your sins, but only if he's not colored, is that what my family meant?
Racism and bigotry are everywhere, especially in religion.
What skin color would Jesus have been, geographically speaking?
I automatically assume a person to be of my race and sex unless something is explicitly stated about them to make it seem different. The bible doesn't seem to go into much detail about Jesus' skin color.
I assume Jesus would have look Middle Eastern despite the common portrayal of him as white (and the equal stupid black Jesus). However after his resurrection Jesus says something about how his disciples will be able to see him in all people, so the Bible would support a view that puts Jesus above the idea of race.

Jesus was a Jew, so, he was most likely dark skinned, but not black.
