This Euro nonsense and oil is baffling. Americans are not gaining from war. It isn't even war that raises the gas price (actually is supposed to lower the price), it is the business reaction to supply/demand. The president has very little to say on the oil price. Oh yeah, dig in Alaska. But then you get whiners. America is great.
Hehe you need to read more. Do a goggle search on the topic of this so-called "Euro nonsense/Iraqi oil" and you would start to see a trend that leads right up the current war.
BUSH'S DEEP REASONS FOR WAR ON IRAQ: OIL, PETRODOLLARS, AND THE OPEC EURO QUESTION
http://ist-socrates.berkeley.edu/~pdscott/iraq.html
Bonus questions:
What was the first thing bush ordered the troops to do once they got into Iraq?
What's the name of the company that has the upper hand in dealing with Iraqi oil?
Who was the head of said company for five years?
After looking that info up, the Words conflict of interest should come to your mind.

In all honesty I never expected Kerry to win. Bush had far to many supporters during these times of war. People seem to be more sympothetic of a president during war times. I was not surprised at all that Bush won.
I have to agree. I voted for Kerry, and I definitely wanted him to win, but all last night I was thinking "he's probably not going to win...I don't want Bush to win, but he probably will..."

hehe do a google search and find some truth? right.
In order to find the truth, you have to be willing to read and seek it out. If you only listen to what's on the TV and radio you will be lost. I find that most people with short attentions spans are not really informed about the issues, because they never take the time to slow down, think, and search for the truth/information. Most are happy with being spoon-feed bits and pieces of information in order to feel knowledgeable about a given topic, but it is always good to be well versed in everything.
Weather you know it or not the Internet can be used as a great research tool, but it doesn't replace sitting down with some good reference material from the library. 😉
