bush won end of conversation ok no law suits no nothing ok

nobody is disputing that he won, I just can't understand why so many people voted for him

I am me. I understand why. No one understands me, so don't ask.
The choice is made simply or complex... either way, 58,000,000+ voters said yeah he beat Kerry.

Here we go again, coot, I am not interested in understanding you, sorry, but I have enough interesting people in my life right now. What I am interested in is why people thought it was advantagious to vote for GW.

kingkoot, dont you think you are personalising this debate WAAAAAAAAY too much?

the OTHER 50% of america has the right to dislike bush and b!tch about him, just like the republicans had their right to endlessly whine about clinton, and ask how the hell that 'scumbag' got elected. lets not have double standards.

and i think the real problem with understanding is this: location

kingkoot, you say that a democrat in your area is steriotyped as a loser burnout with goals in life.

in my area, the steriotypical republican is a selfish fat lazy ignorant uneducated alcoholic stupid redneck know-it-all bible-beating hick.

im willing to bet that if i visited your area, i would meet many republicans i like and democrats i think are pathetic. i think if you visited my area and have some conversations with certain republicans you meet...you may just gain an understanding of why i am a democrat.

guess Daily Mirror is clear on its view on the election

"the OTHER 50% of america has the right to dislike bush and b!tch about him, just like the republicans had their right to endlessly whine about clinton, and ask how the hell that 'scumbag' got elected. lets not have double standards."

Despite the fact that Clinton was a much better president no less.

Get ready people. He's a uniter not a divider! ya right. 49.5% of the population get ready to be ignored and run over for another 4 years. The sad thing... The '4 years' haven't even started yet. Not until January... 4 years 2 months to go. God and any other deity please help us!

I'm not surprise at the reactions by some people. Lately certain people think that because a person voted for Bush that person is either dumb or and idiot.

Well, go ahead and call me an idiot. I voted for Bush. Why? Because I want 4 more years of liberal whinning and Bush haters getting bitter and bitter everytime Bush does something. But in reality I have other reasons for voting for him. I might share them another time when things cool down around here.

The thing that amazes me is that people put Kerry's minuses against the minuses of Bush. Kerry changes his mind alot, yes. Bush lies to his people, yes.

If the lesser of two evils notion was a pimp, it'd be dealing a slap across all your faces that voted for Bush coz the negative outweighs the positive.

Im glad bush won at least kerry didnt win.

The US is divided in the philosophy of who does what with respect to how much a person is responsible.

Kerry seemed to believe everyone needs a chance, aka most people should get what they want. (unrealistic)
My belief is that everyone has a chance, it is just how much they want something and most people do strive for it.
In my area, republicans strive to live, they succeed.
In PVS's area, democrats strive to live, they succeed.

Bush believes economic principles should be applied to acting on terrorism and the economy. I happen to share those beliefs. Bush is an economist. What ever makes success in business is valid in how people act.
Myself and Bush are more Darwinist than Kerry, and so I say, that is why I vote Bush.

PVS, interesting stuff,
I'm not a redneck, (most people don't farm now)
I'm not a Bible beater, I actually believe people got their reasons for or not the bible.
I'm not fat, I only weigh 145 pounds and I'm 5' 9". I work as hard as I can and I get to be the butt of all jokes at times for working so hard by everyone. I don't much care.
I very much hate beer, in fact, I'll only drink a whiskey sour on a rare occasion.

Interesting how Republicans really do identify with Bush because Bush came to these republicans to see how they are living and what their problems are. That is why some people identify with Bush. It is that simple. There is a handshake he knows with republicans. Democrats won't figure it out most likely.

I seriously hope someone kills Bush.

f**k bush. I hope his stupid ass gets assasinated

I do to, but then we get stuck with Cheney.

This is exactly what is wrong with America today. No open minded people on the extreme side of society.

I just hope no one does anything stupid and breaks the greatest commandment, the law, and the basic fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering bit by Yoda. (Skipping fear, anger, and hate is what assassination is doing and going right to suffering, quick to anger, or quick to suffering is bad mmmmkay)

It is all related, we have laws for a reason. You want to break it, or have someone break it, there will be a cost. That cost is the path directing us towards our own destruction.

I think Kerry is accually relieved he didn't win. I think he felt and obligation to run ans was prepared to lead but kinda didn't wanna do it.
I don't envy Bush right not. He's leading a Really divided nation where almost half of the population hates his guts. And he's in a mess in Iraq. Its just not a fun situation to be in.

Exactly. Bush is prepared to go through with his decisions. Exactly what I understood. There is something he sees in the terrorists no one understands. They really do not want to believe they are being controlled, but they want to believe the US and free countries are causing their position. To change someones mind at that extreme does require force and the patience no one seems to have if you are a democrat who voted Kerry.

Sorry to all Bush supporters, I feel this country's goin' down, and what if Osama really blows us up!? 🙁
