Bush has won for the second term!!!

I'm done dude. I don't know if there are any other Bush supporters that will care to answer you at the moment. I think they are all praying or working for their lord and savior Jesus christ. 🙂

I do know, people Chose to change laws all the time for their own little reasons. I don't much care at all right at this moment.

Bush won. I will live with it.

I understand you are the only bush supporter here. But when you go on a thread to discuss issues you should care what others have to say, and if people ask you why you believe a certain thing you should be able to answer. Honestly though, I can understand why you wouldn't want to debate with multiple people anymore. Realistically, I wouldn't either. But that doesn't mean if you say something I disagree with I'm not going to comment on it.

The whole trouble is I'm not here to debate issues. I'm an Electrical & Information Engineering Technology major, and not an English, history, political machine know it all.

I'm educated, I've had good things come my way, but I won't debate after I've posted over 60 posts. Siphon the information from what I have posted please. I'm going on 100,000 words. It was fun, but I need my fingers for eating now.

So am I supposed to have sympathy because you cannot get your point across? Am I also supposed to have sympathy because you find it difficult to communicate to people outside your state?

If there are 5 people having a conversation, and only one person is having dificulties communicating their viewpoint, it is not the other 4 peoples' fault.

You blame (among other things) misunderstandings of what you say because of your use of sarcasm, yet you continue to try to use sarcasm. Sarcasm in the written form is a dangerous thing leading easily to misrepresentation of facts or individuals. Continue to use it at your peril.

I don't have any trouble communicating with people on the basis that it is not a debate. I'm NOT a DE-BATE-R. I handle information and present it on power point, and solve electrical problems.
I have not Debated ever, instead I was in Marching Band for 8 years. I have been asked, "Have you ever thought about going out for debate, because I can rattle on about how something has to be some way." I just don't care about the little things in life. Debate is a hash and rehash and it isn't getting any problems solved. A debate is masterbating the problem over and over until you think you know how to solve it. I like to find out exactly how to take a problem down, and solve it.

Go fly a kite. I'm done masterbating the problem. I've been solving it. The problem won't get totally solved, but eventually if everyone is alot more respectable to each other, and when we understand each other, it is possible to live in peace.

you are solving the problem? oh do tell how...

LOL, oh what a high opinion you have of yourself. And I thought it would take more than one person to solve all the world's problems silly me. I also thought intelligent discussion was needed to see all sides of an arguement.

But you "present" your opinion or "rattle on about how something has to be some way". That is not talking to someone, that is talking at someone.

You know, like how bush does.

Fact is Bush won and we must live with it. Whether you agree or not the man is still president. Is just some people are having a hard time accepting it. The election was a week ago and to ponder the same topics doesn't go anywhere. People should seriously move on. No point in arguing the same thing over and over again. I understand Bush haters trying to vent their fustration out but come on! You can't be bitter for another 4 years that's just ridicolous.

oh but i CAN be bitter for the next four years

watch me

Personally I don't think you or anyone else in this forum are bitter about Bush winning. All I can say is that is best to move forward. If you trully are bitter just take a vacation and relax. Life goes on...

you mean take a vacation from my job that i may lose in the next four years because bush keeps our country in the constant state of fear and uncertainty, starting one war whilehe hints another?

cant afford to.

maybe ill take a vacation in 2008

I'm not bitter about Bush winning the election. I'm just very, very sad.

corn

Being in a depressed state of mind does nothing to solve problems. That was my very point.

I can learn how to play the violin. Anyone want a good song? I can play a nice song for you if it would help.

Look at it this way, all the comedy shows and late night comedy can poke fun at Bush for another 4 years. The president can take it.

who said im depressed?

look, too many people have this attitude like "its over, get over it"

no, this is not the same as when the yankees choked in the american league series and everyone just said "oh well...better luck next year" this is not the end, its the beginning. the beginning of 4 long years of muslims being murdered by the hundreds of thousands and tension from such leading to more attacks on our troops...and possibly on us citizens...another 4 years of the routine invasion of civil liberies which our forfathers put in place for a REASON,
four years of listening to redneck tough talk of "we aint afraid of no terrorists" and then seeing the same pseudo-macho idiots turn around and beg to have their liberty taken away so they can feel safer (pussies) and a gleeful adminisration answering their call without hesitation. perhaps 'patriot act 3'?

another 4 years of an unusually elevated amount of paranoia, fear, racism, and religious bigotry everywhere i look. another four years of the useless and counterproductive "terror alert" to scare the american public into submission.
four years of complete uncertainty, forcing big business to hold back on their investments due to a volatle market, causing yet more loss of jobs, or if we are LUCKY, a simple lack of jobs...except we can still work at walmart cant we?

Racism huh? That is in your mind. I work with people of color and respect them very much. Very much. In fact, I had 9 roommates and 1/2 of them did not share my ethnicity. One was from the MiddleEast. I really liked the guy and he shared food with me (awesome). I have respect for all people.

Here is something for KharmaDog to study.
2004 election by county and Margin of Victory by county.

I don't have much to say why people voted, but most people in the Suburbs voted Bush, and the Urban population voted Kerry. I think most of the voting has to do with taxes, the war on terror, and economy.

kingkoot, im am not suggesting that you are a racist. i am saying that america's culture is changing to one of further mistrust and racism.

we are moving toward a culture that suggests that you should keep a close eye on your middle eastern roomate and report him if you find him to be 'suspicious'. just because you are enlightened enough to think above this bullshit does not erase this and many other problems of intolerance.

you seem to think you are the spokesman for all right wingers and i assure you that you are not, just as i cannot be a self appointed spokesman for the left.

That is what you think. I don't take the warning like that at all. I really see people that voted Democrat here think like that. Sorry man. I'm not seeing what you are talking about in my day to day life.

Give Iowa a try, and you will see why we don't get afraid or paranoid about people. We have guns for defense. We feel safe no matter who people are. I see good in everyone.

After 911 I was working with my Adviser from Turkey, and another professor from the Middle East. The professor from the Middle East had his daughter in the same class with me, and we talked about class work and had worked on projects together. We soldered a shortwave radio together and it worked. There is nothing that I can do that will change your mind on what people think, but I chose not to be a statistic in what you think.

I'm sorry you feel that society is going down the hill that way. I see that we have a chance to help each other. I rather stay positive no matter what happens.

how thick.

ok, so the basis of your arguement could be given as such.

person A: there are KKK in south carolina

person B: nonesense, i live in south carolina and i am not a member of the KKK, therefore it does not exist.

you are personalising the issues and its annoying. why dont you open up a self-validating thread so the issues can be debated rather than your character, ok?

and staying blindly posative is just moronic. by ignoring current events which put a dent in your 'good vibes' you shall remain blissfully ignorant.

I didn't say blindly positive. I mean stay positive against how people are being negative or destructive on society. I never ignore how people treat others. I don't let it depress me out of my mind at all either.

If depression ever consumes me, I will add to the problems of society.

and as usual you personalise it. all the negative intolerant shit that goes on in the world, in iowa, and even in jersey has ZERO to do with how you percieve it. why the hell does it all center aroud what goes on in your head?

and furthermore, anytime someone presents a statement, rather than debate that, you take one point that you disagree with and run with that rather than address the entierty of that statement. and not only that, but you personalise that one point and send it on an even more far-out tangent...which brings us here. wtf is the point? are you just hear to say "IM A GOOD PERSON!!!" well just say it and be done with it, ok?
