i said in ireland, where it is a proven fact. Ive read the same is in most european countries.

to be honest imo its the fact that there are so many subjects to take in school. most girls seem to be better at doing many different subjects, while boys are better when they specialise in only a few subjects. its not all, but most i think.

This is a generalisation but women do better in humanities subjects while men do better in mathematics/science.
