I've saw a RAW episode where Triple H was holding a double handed hammer, and he looked very Thor-like, the man got the body to pull out a good Thunder God.

Tripple H is the best Thor IMO as well... Nathan Jones would be an amazing Juggernaut you know the guy from the movie Troy he played the big guy called Boagrias... that dude's the truth son!

Viggo is a seasoned actor I'll give you that, but he's too small to be Thor, I mean he's just too short... Thor in the comics is 6'7" 700 lbs. Viggo wouldn't cut it.... maybe Hawkeye though, that may be a better part for him to play.

If you want to sell Thor to the movie going audience, I suggest they pick Brad Pitt (Troy) and leave the rest to CGI...

Stallone is 5'7 yet he was able to play Judge Dredd. There are several film technologies/techniques which can manipulate/enhance the size of the actor portraying a role/character bigger than his frame.

Brad Pitt would really sell this movie to the viewers unfamiliar with The Mighty Thor. As for us, the comic fans, we get the chance to enjoy the film played by one of the better actors in the movie industry today.

Just imagine Brad Pitt crying as Thor ala Troy when he is banished by Odin... great stuff!

Thors a barbarian and will probably look Swedish for someone playing the role he would need to be big built with blonde hair kind of like Shwarzenegger when he played Conan

Well, not so much like Arnold but somehow close to that perfect shape.

Loki is out of the question, but I think they should bring all the gods in a battle with Thor joining in like the comics. The Fire Demon or Pluto

someone mentioned Triple H...personally, i dont think he's a good actor. then again many wrestlers aren't very good at acting...

They are writing the movie without cast. I care a lot more for the classic costume. Wrestlers are the easy and wrong way.

I think alot of heathens would go and watch this. Yes I mean heathens some people still pray to Thor. Its just alot of stuff in the comic and in the movie will be far removed from Heathen lore, not sure if im gonna read another Thor comic again.

They get brad pitt to do the acting....and then get Rod Wilson to do the voice overs. Why ? Because he actualy SOUNDS like how you expect Thor to sound.

The actor you mention is well known=bad idea.
