I dont think its not either. Samus doesnt have books, but an instruction booklet.
You cant include books because a book can be written anyway possible. For example, "Master Chief can dodge bullets and fly like superman." Does that mean Master Chief can do that? No, it means somebody just wrote it.
I think we can only include whats in the actually videogame. I wouldnt even include the actually instruction booklet.
The books were very well based on the game. He's just the same, if not weaker in the books. He almost dies more than once and has the same general abilities as in the game. And you have to include the books because it's Samus vs MC and the games are only less than a year of his life and there are a lot more books and games about Samus.
It says on the bungie website and in one of the booklets I got with my COllectors Edition H2 that AI like Cortana can only live for approximately 7 years.

Wait, who wrote the comment earlier about the MC losing this vs because he has backup of the fleet and is still losing the fight against teh Covenant? That's retrarded, no one person could take on an Alien race that has that much technological advancement, let alone evolutionary. Even if you stuck Samus in the Halo universe she would not take on the Covenant juggernaught by herself.
Btw I do not know why you are so opposed to the books. If Samus can only be hurt by phazon or w/e was said back there than that is just lame. The MC does not have any phazon weapons.

I believe that was me who made the comment. It was also true. You don't see Samus take on all the space pirates, who btw are alot tougher than the Covenant, with the entire human fleet and still be on the losing side. If MC is as powerful as you say he is, then why does he need the support of so many soldiers? Just because MC is too limited to take on a Covenant Juggernaught doesn't mean that Samus couldn't do it. Given what we've seen of her ground weaponry, I'd hate to think what she could do in her ship.
Space Pirates are stronger to counter a player with stronger weapons. And no Samus could not take on the Covenant, there's trillions of them. She'd get fragged. Besides I think Halo is a more "Realistic" ,if you can call a game that, type of game. Metroid is a more classical video game. I've also said that Samus would beat the Chief in battle so I dont know why I'm even still here. O.o
