Too bad MC can only carry two weapons at a time. Scarab gun is not cannon, it's just a cheat. It's just like how we can't prove that Samus is just as strong and fast out of the suit because of the Metroid cheat.
No, the MC can only carry two weapons in the game because the developers realized only newbs needed to have a rocket launcher and sniper rifle and a machine with infinite ammo...you get the idea.
The Scarab gun is a cheat in the game, I've never done it myself as my brother lost halo 2 on me, but it dosen't disprove the Chief's ability to use one.
I never said it was a cannon...

Yes ti does. Because he's never used oen before. He has to cannon...ly use a weapon before it can be proven that he can wield it. FOr exampel I can say that MC coudl wield a light-sabre pretty well because I saw a picture of him doing it once.

That's a pretty weak argument, saying "Oh MC can hold more than 2 weapons at a time, the developers just wanted him that way." And if he can hold more than 2 weapons at a time in the books (which I don't remember) than that's another inconsistency. I also never said that the scarab gun was a cannon, I said it wasn't cannon, in other words it's not real in Halo, it's just a cheat.

Exactly. And besides were is MC going to carry all of these guns? He has no pockets or anyting. And in the books he just has a strap with which h can cary two guns.
Another question. How can the sniper rifle not work in space f it works perfectly fine in boarding action? Were your fighting in a vacum?

The Scarab does shoot...it's in the campaign. Again, there is a scaled down hand held version of the Scarab gun, it does exist, read it Bungie somewhere, and no it was not a fan fic or anything.
Inconsitency? He can hold more than one weapon, how is that in cosistent, and the argument of game developers wanting it that way is not a weak argument. Halo would be no fun if you could carry all the weapons and mass amounts of ammo, it would be too easy.
I never said he could carry them all at once. He'd just pick two of the better ones. And if Samus needs to carry massed amounts of weapons it shows she can just bring an army of ordinance with her...
